I just got done counting all the wins and specific stats, here are my findings: Don had the most joy-con wins with 7 + 1 duel win, followed closely by Alpha with 6. After that come Cade with 4 and Dillon with 3 Alpha and Cade tied on boss minigames with 2 wins each, Dillon and Don both had 1 win Don won on non-koopathalon coin minigames with 5 wins compared to Alpha and Dillon with 4 each and Cade with 0 Cade kept his losing streak into koopathalon whilst Don got only 1 more win. Dillon got 3 and Alpha got 5. These wins are only the level 1 wins, as higher levels aren't all shown and otherwise they would weigh more than others. Speaking of coins, the coin counts are as follows. Not counting koopathalon, the rankings are the same as the wins; Don in first with 115, followed closely by Alpha with 108. Dillon got 88 and Cade got 70 coins. Koopathalon coins are as follows: Alpha: 836, Don: 780, Dillon: 736 and Cade: 661. Keep in mind that this is only the score of round 1 again. If you were wondering, for the first time a Bowser minigame came up, which there were 4 of, Alpha won 1, Cade won 1 and Dillon won 2. There was 1 minigame that no one won, Sleight of Shell and only The Floor is Falling wasn't played. For the rhythm games I had to go off what I could hear, but from what I heard: Alpha won 5, Don won 4, Dillon won 2 and Cade won 1. I could not hear who won Burger Builders With Kaboom Squad, the group got 5 A ranks and 5 S ranks, but for 1 you can blame Goomba. For the types of minigames, I'm mostly going to focus on the most wins per category, if you want more info on this or anything else, ask me. I have a lot of info written down. Dillon won the most 4 player minigames with 14, this does include joy-con minigames and boss minigames, but not the showdown minigames or koopathalon minigames. Dillon also won the most 1v3 minigames, whether you look at the times he was the 1, the 3 or both combined. For the 2v2s Dillon tied with Don, getting 5 wins each. Alpha and Cade both got 5. In the duel minigames, Don and Alpha won the most with a whopping 2, though they both played 3 along with Cade. Dillon only played 1 duel. Due to this, a duel between Dillon and Don and neither did a duel between Cade and Dillon. Also, this means that Dillon technically has the best win% on duels with 100%. In this minigame gauntlet, Don and Cade dueled twice. For the Showdown minigames, Alpha and Don both won 4, the most wins of this category. And, with all points tallied up, no duplicates, the points at the end are: Alpha with 38, Dillon with 40, Don with 32, Cade with 17. Thank you for reading :)
As a Toadette player, I've noticed a lot of minigames that include something she can stand on (like in Night Lights). Just makes her even cuter than she already is❤
28:31 I think the issue they were having with this mini game is that you dont flick the controller to throw the lasso, you just stop twirlin the controller and it throws, you flick to pull it back
I thinking its funny I see many people think the 3vs1 minigames are sided towards one side, but other people think the opposite because of different knowledge
I can't believe I just realized I've been working for 6 straight hours because of this video! I've been so focused on my work with this background noise that I lost track of time. I work from home, so I've only been up to grab a drink or two, but I've been glued to my computer the whole time. I had no idea the video was that long!
i guess bowser jr. is my main main this game if i play it, then 1:38:32 there were game theory episodes about this wait not every playable character has a minigame? no goomba or shy guy minigame? scam. there isn't even a bowser minigame! 2:56:15 BUT IT'S IN TOONTOWN TOO 2:57:48 :D wait what happens in an actual game if you tie a buddy minigame it's so sad that thwomp the difference is f tier
I just learned from watching Jacob that you can match rows top to bottom in Coin Conveyor, and it actually appears to be the faster option. Here I was building left to right like a fool
The way i'd balance the buddy mechanic in Mario Party is to make a 2 Tiered Buddy System. The buddies you win from the Jamboree Style Minigames are the Strong Tier 1 Buddies, these have powerful effects (such as allowing you to buy 2 stars, get two activations of spaces etc) BUT cannot be taken from you by players passing you, actually making winning the mini game matter. The buddies you get from buddy spaces from previous games, would be Tier 2 buddies, these have less powerful effects (take some of the passive effects from the Jamboree Buddies like Wario giving you coins every turn etc and give them to these buddies, and maybe they allow you to use their custom dice from the previous games but only once or perhaps just scrap the custom buddy dice all together) and these buddies CAN be taken from you if someone runs past you. While i obviously can't say for sure how this would work in practice, in theory at least, i think this is sound.
honestly i think them being stealable is good for balance even with the initial minigame i just think there should be protection until your first dice roll after getting them. The bulk of the problem is how long the minigames are, not how easy they are to steal. And like certain ones are fine at their length, especially luigi, peach, bowser junior and mario, but the waluigi, yoshi, DK and wario ones just feel drawn out for the sake of filling time, not because they actually need to be 3 minutes edit: oh rosa is also too long
@5:20:00 what tricks jacob lol you just sat there for the slap duel. You can actually short hop and still have time to jump to force your opponent to play
That was a lot of disconnecting at the start x'D Did the math but don't want to spoiler so.. Only click on "show more" if you want to see the score. It's not including the minigames from the lap racing thingy nor rhytm games tho. so... ----- Daisy 28 Mario 37 Peach 26 Toadette 14
I wish the motion control minigames were pro controller compatible. I think that takes it from like a c tier set overall to a high b. Playing with the joycon sucks and cutting out motion controls cuts it in half which sucks. I think it hurts the game a lot not having that. Also cut the showdown minigame lengths in half and it’s significantly better. Koopathalon seems interesting but I dislike how much weight the bowser minigames hold.
Them saying gate keepers is an inferior bowser’s big blast is crazy. Gate keepers is objectively better, at least mechanically. I will give it to them that Bowser’s big blast is more theatrical
I can't be the only one that doesn't get why they love the lava puzzle minigame, it's probably by far the LONGEST minigame of every Mario party ever, it could last over 5 minutes if you get that unlucky, it is dreadful, god. Like why do they hate every long minigame ever but praise that one?
love when vods are posted because i genuinley cannot write papers w/o it ngl
Samesies, this is the only thing getting me through econ homework
It’s very helpful when you work in a quiet office too, just for future reference
Me with cooking
Im goth/alternative and it’s great for doing my makeup for hours! Also doing chores 😅

I'm so desperate to know what happens if Mario wins his own minigame set, like who gets Mario then?
Okay I looked this up and if Mario wins… Mario just goes to whoever came second lmao. Truly there is no point in him being there
So what did we learn today?
1. This game makes great ragebait content
2.
I thinking its funny I see many people think the 3vs1 minigames are sided towards one side, but other people think the opposite because of different knowledge
Seeing 4 player fwob boys Mario party for the second time this week has made my heart happy

NGL every time people were complaining about their shots not getting as many points as others in the camera game they had very clearly worse shots

47:50 There's no coyote time in this mini game, so you can try to jump right after stepping off a platform and ground pound instead
i survive off these vods EVERY NIGHT 🤞
Hello fellow vodders
11:00 finally starts a game

Bro no fucking way you said Gate Keypers is good that minigame is straight up ass
i fell asleep watching you guys play rosalina’s game mode. this might create counter play in the community.
Is there an actual tell for that key game or are they just trolling because I always lose that game and its embarassing

They like the mind games ones, like the donut one where you can lock out your opponents and sabotage them.
I’m the 3rd comment (laughs in lonelyness)
