when l move a golden barrel , l just cut all but about 3 inches of the roots and pit it on the porch in morning sun afternoon shade , wait about 8 days and work the soil where lm going to move it and make a litte dip in the soil and set it on top and in about 3 weeks its rooted in. l used to work in san diego and found out with cactus and succulents, roots are optional. Although l wouldn't try it with some tree aloes.😊😊
looks great! lm from south texas, my landscape is very much like yours. Maybe another golden barrel in front of the Americana, looks like a hole there. You have an absolutely gorgeous landscape.
Thanks but they didn't do well in this garden, it was too hot and dry in the summer and we get occasional frost here. I have some in the greenhouse though.
