Quick question, how do you prep the bumper before wrapping it? Isn’t it recommended that you paint it first?

no need for paint, if anything sand it with 800-2000 grit then clean surface with isopropyl alcohol and ready to go. My e90s bumpers and skirts were unpainted and were still good.
