I was once in the Louvre Museum and went into a room full of 17th Century tapestries. I was so overcome with emotion from the magnitude and sheer perfection of the work that I sat down on a bench and sobbed. It is the exact same feeling as with this man, Piotr Beczala who has scaled the heights to sheer perfection. Tears erupt in you wherever you are when you hear him sing this aria. Knowing that you will never hear it sung better. That it is as close to perfection as a mere mortal can achieve. And we as spectators walk into some other world that we rarely ever see. I feel immense joy to be present whenever Piotr Beczala is on the stage.

Ich mag ihn auch,aber diese Arie habe ich noch nie perfekt gehört,nehme an Fritz Wunderlich hat sie nicht gesungen. Ich mag einfach das wobbling nicht. Angenommen er war sehr bewegt von der Situation die er darstellt,er presst so sehr die Luft!
