Thanks for the extra material on Patreon it really helps to get the technique refined.
I have 6 weeks to get my metal back up to proficient speed & accuracy. Then its time to travel for band practice and getting creative. 👍

Jason, I love your videos and it's helping me a lot, I am working on a death metalcomposition right now and all these lessons are great. I have a huge dificulty to keep rythmn when I'm playing tremolo pciking and others fast tecniques on guitar. May you have some tips of exercises to help me on it? Thanks a lot for yous channel and for sharing this knowledge.

Thank you. I have a rhythm playlist on my channel so there are tons of videos there. I also have a metal rhythm guitar course called Metal Riff Master if that's something you're interested in. You can learn more about that here: www.jasonstallworth.com/courses/

Jason, I bought your guitar course and watch all your videos!! Thank you!! But one thing I can't seem to figure out is how you get that sound from your guitar when just playing single notes between the power chords. I have a Marshall MG30CFX and i just can't figure it out. The power chords sound fine but the individual notes that you alternate pick don't have the heft to it. What am I doing wrong? This is killing my motivation, I have been trying to figure it out for a long time now.

Thank you for getting my course and all the support. The best thing is to start out playing those riffs really slow so that you develop that mind-muscle connection
As far as tones, I'm using all Blackstar gear. This is one of their amp pedals: ua-cam.com/video/LQ68ib-rpIs/v-deo.html

Not sure if anyone else has this problem but sometimes my guitar pick gets stuck in between strings. Drives me crazy. I have been working on my pick angle. It is getting better but still got problem. Any helpful hints. And thanks again for a great lesson.

Perhaps it's a pick depth issue? As an addition to the tips in the video, try choking up on the pick so you have less sticking out. this will reduce how 'deep' you can pick and it will let you glide over the strings instead of digging in. Also try working on not having an iron grip on the pick. Pay attention to the level of tension in your thumb when holding the pick. you should be fairly loose.

@@wootks UPDATE: It was my guitar pick. I tried different guitar picks and found some with beveled edges that work wonderfully. It is crazy that something as simple as a pick could make such a difference. Thank you Wootks and Jason for your help. Much appreciated.

@@ivancat1891 yeah try those hetfield white fang picks. they are 1.14mm and are shaped like a dunlop flow pick. super grippy. they lock onto your fingers which lets you relax your grip a lot. Currently I am using that or a green tortex.
What pick were you using before?
