  • The babies are growing up SO fast! I have been working with them to get them used to sitting on a perch so they can exercise their feet. It took a few days off falling off of the perch, but they are doing great now. Soon they will fly out of their nest box or cage and land on that perch to eat. After that stage they should be on seed and millet. More to come!
    Sorry about the ugly blue nail polish

    Hi! I was just curious. Can you pair any colors together? I am interested in getting some Gouldians! Thank you!

      You can pair up most any color. To get the truest colors you will want to stay with same colors. That's been my experience. :)

      Dave Dowson Hi! I use Kaytee formula in a powder form and mix it with warm water. It's always best to let mom and dad feed their own babies, but when they are parent bird rejected no one wants to lose any chicks. Thank you for watching the video. :)

      KayTee baby bird formula, mixed with warm water. Dont microwave it, and keep the mix warm during feeding. Use a small eyedropper type device to feed and administer slowly.

    untill wat age do you feed them kaytee formula?

    • @canarycoop
      @canarycoop  7 років тому

      Hi! I fed them like this until they were eating on their own completely. They will beg like little children, even after they can feed themselves.

      I know the parents also stop at a certain age to motivate the chicks to start eating for themself. Do you also use this technique and at what age?

      Ranjith Dev I used Kaytee baby bird formula for these little birds. You can find it at most pet stores. :>

      There were rogue male birds throwing the babies out of their nest, in an open flight. That scared off the parents, so I can't to step in or lose them.
