I just love clicking on these videos with the expectation that maybe someone has a tip or trick Im not aware of then they break out the claw hammer to work on an engine... YEP Im done and that tells me all I need to know.
I just don't get why people get so wrapped around the axle about a claw hammer. Those of us just getting into this hobby tend to make due with what we have on hand. I happened to have a claw hammer at the time. I don't claim to be an expert. I am learning as I go and just want to share what I learn with others that are doing this for the first time.
@Tony Tavolieri Welcome back! And thanks for watching and leaving a comment. It was a much easier task than I expected it to be. The hardest part was being careful not to mar the new bearings after they were installed. I am going to have to be doubly careful when I re-install the cam.
Thanks for these, One of these days I will need them. I have my dad's 98 Jeep GC 5.9 that's been in the family since 2000, and has a served the family well for 287K. It's mine now and I want to rebuild her, and maybe stroker kit in the future. All stock but an basic exhaust right now.
Welcome to the channel, Donald, and thank you for the comment. I am glad you found the videos useful. Feel free to shoot me any questions you may have.
@HygroHybrid Welcome to the channel and thank you for the comment. I hope this was helpful. It's pretty straight forward but if you have questions, feel free to ask. I'm pretty sure I came across your channel a few years ago while researching after my wife got her medical card. Hope to see you around.
Hello James. Thanks for another comment! I can't wait to do a big block. I am looking at a couple of "next project" cars right now. One was a 69 Super Bee with a 383 HP in it. Unfortunately It sold 8 days before I got the funds to pull the trigger. Boooooo!

Sweet! I wouldn't complain about a 3.9 v6 for the right car. Let me know how it goes for you.
