This ain’t gangster rap. This autobiographical. This is soul touching. This is God speaking through a vessel. People can say whatever they want when it comes to hip hop “evolving” but whatever we have today is no where near this pure and beautiful. Hip hop used to touch you deeply that even as a child you could feel the emotions of it. That’s just how powerful Tupac was for me. As a child I could feel the pain of the world and how we need to be better. I felt this at 4 yrs old.

Is there a heaven for me...?
I was an emotionally bankrupt adolescent when I was listening to this song.
Now, at the age of 40, am still the same man.
Life is tough man, but hang in there.
There is a heaven somewhere, I/we just haven't found it.
Peace and light be with you.

I’m the same, this song resonated with me and from then on I was intrigued by his music. Tupac seemed to be able to connect with lost souls, presumably…because he was one himself. I can listen to this song today and feel all the emotion I felt long ago.

I was crushed when he died. I couldn't believe some of the crip homies from around the block said he was just another "slob" ( a derogatory term for Bloods/Piru gang members) I couldn't believe my ears. THIS is what separated Pac. Pathos. What the Greeks used to describe EMOTION. He wasn't the best MC or lyricist...whatever. What Tupac Shakur was though was the SOUL of hip hop and the culture. No one, before or since, has been able to touch the emotions of all these people listening to the music. Talking about broken homes, abuse, childhood pregnancy, single mothers...all you ever hear about is money and women and drugs it seems. That shit is superficial. Yeah, he rapped about it too, but it wasn't the center of his message. When people REALLY get emotional thinking about Pac, it won't be because of songs like California Love or even Hit 'em Up...it's Papa'z Song , it's Keep Ya Head Up, it's Brenda's Got A Baby, it's Can U Get Away, it's So Many Tears. He poured his heart out with his words and we all felt that shit on some level. That's truly why he became immortal...we won't let him die because everything he spoke on REMAINS RELEVANT in our lives.

    RIP 2PAC 2023 and forever.
This song is just so introspective and soul bearing. It's really been hitting me the last couple of months.
One of my all time favs of his. The paranoia of his woman cheating on him and how he wants a baby so he could see a side of him that wasn't always shady? Damn.

Yes Shock G produced this track.
Just lets you know how underrated he was as a producer once you got past the Humpty Hump ego. He was down for the cause which is why Pac messed with him
They're reunited in Soul Heaven now

This shows the level of awareness Pac had towards human suffering.
    R.I.P Legend
"Now I'm lost and I'm weary So many tears
I'm suicidal so don't stand near me
My every move is a calculated step, to bring me closer
To embrace an early death, now there's nothing left
There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest
I'm barely standing, bout to go to pieces, screamin' peace
And though my soul was deleted, I couldn't see it
I had my mind full of demons trying to break free
They planted seeds and they hatched, sparking the flame
Inside my brain like a match, such a dirty game
    No memories, just a misery
Painting a picture of my enemies killing me, in my sleep
Will I survive 'til the mornin' to see the sun
Please Lord forgive me for my sins, cause here I come"

I really don’t understand how a human being could make a beautifully deep song like this.

Because this human went through it all from his childhood years to his death he never had an easy life so he wrote down his pain that was already premediated in his soul cause he knew they were many like him who could relate to what he was going through

I will never forget the day he died. I wished to God PAC didn’t get thug life tatted on his chest. We saw his career evolve when he was living and we saw how fast he was living. We literally watched PAC spiral into his death. Will never forget. 😞
