Rain, foggy... Sounds like how I look at the weather forecast next week here, but still thinking I want to film something!!! But yeah with hiking, rain can make the paths pretty dangerous. That wooden path looks pretty nice through the forest. You still got wet in the end, I admire your dedication here!
Oh no the weather sure was a bummer. I was nervous something else was going to happen when walking the trail when raining. But I'm so glad it didn't! On a positive note, at least you were able to get some exercise in and explore the outdoors even though you couldn't catch that view of Mount Taranaki.
I know the feeling when you reach the destination but couldnt go due to rain.Really happy that you got something out of it.Its a different experience though love the video and the path through the forest look so amazing.

Ooh, so spooky with all that fog rolling in around you. Love the cinematic shots and transitions, makes a hiking video interesting to watch (we really struggled with that when we were doing a lot of hiking- people get bored just watching you walk around haha)

Real shame about the weather. I have had many similar experiences in which the weather dampened the travel experience. I miss hiking though, such a fun activity. You are lucky to have a well maintained trail, no muddy and slippery trails.
