Andrea Romano, Justice League Unlimited's voice director, has always credited her success with the fact that she brings her voice actors together in the same room to record their parts. Unlike most cartoon voices, which are recorded separately, she has each script recorded like a live radio drama -- if you see them talking on-screen, then they were talking in real life.
And trying to imagine the sweaty trio of Jeremy Piven (Elongated Man), Tom Sizemore (Metamorpho) and Jerry O'Connell (Captain Marvel) all sitting in some dark room waiting for the red light to come on, I gotta ask, "Just how big was that tray of coke waiting for them?"
