So, basically, rely on others to help you get through it... When people have bitterly disappointed you all your life and when your family heartlessly abandons you, that's not an option. How do you plan for your future then? That's what I want to know.
I am so sorry to hear that you have been so disappointed so many times. I am wondering if there is anyone who you might think of as an ally. Who gets you. We all need people to help us get through.
This video is more target to people that have intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. As future planning is one of the many resources that is used when helping those families. I understand this video may leave a bitter taste but I would suggest in finishing or creating strategies that might help include people/socialization in your life (as in maybe moving to a new environment or a place where your ideals and beliefs may be shared with). Hopefully you find what you're looking for.
