This is such a complete and thorough review! Hope you gain many new subscribers, you deserve it for the effort you put into this video. I'm waiting for the next update for MuOS, it's a great cfw, but still doesn't have functional BT
I've had this since they shipped and it has replaced every handheld other than my Steam Deck. In fact when I take my Steam Deck with me this goes in the bag with it but often I take just the RG35XXSP alone. I still play my Steam Deck more though as all my PC gaming is done through it plugged into my monitor. I usually do use a custom OS on small retro handhelds but the stock on this is great. I don't use portmaster as all the games that play on that play on my Steam Deck anyway. I got Stardew Valley running on MuOS but eh, still better on my Steam Deck. I run Linux on all my PCs minus my Mac Mini so the Knulli storage format, EXT4, is what I use anyway so I might give that a shot at some point.
@@RetroFunTech the gap between the zfold is so large that even my weewee would fit in. A paper thin dagger. Either way, wasn't the screen a LCD panel though? I believe these are capable of being bendy enough for such a form factor device. Honestly I'd be totally cool with a device with two different screens such as the Microsoft duo 2 i believe. Heck, even s Nintendo DS. I'd feel terribly disgusted if the DS had one unity screen.
It's the GOAT for 2024. Really just dumb luck on Anbernic's part time given the number of handhelds they bloody release every month. I'm more a muOS fanboy but I don't mind the latest stock from Anbernic which is somewhat unnerving given their firmware is usually a trainwreck.
I'm probably far worse than you think you are at GBA Tony Hawk, but I also absolutely love playing that game too lol Can't wait for my SP to arrive. Should be here within the next couple of days. Great review (as always).
@@RetroFunTech Thanks! In keeping with the GBA SP theme, I'm set on finally playing/beating Metroid: Zero Mission and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon 🍻
awesome video!
Thanks for watching!
50,000 plus sales so far last word (2-3 months too). This won't be the last time Anbernic does a clamshell.
I hope not. Honestly I hope that we see more of these. Maybe eventually Miyoo will come out with the mythical flip.

Great device. Appreciate the overview of the CFW Options. I am using KNULLI currently. Might try MuOS next.
This device is so good and so popular, I can’t believe powkiddy sat on the v90 for so long with out an update
I love mine. And with some stickers on it, the RG35XXSP looks even better. Nice video! ✌🏻

Wifi isn't an issue on the dev build Cool Beans (bc324f66) - connects pretty quick
I use MUos it's very user friendly and very easy to customise how you want it .
At least this clamshell leaves less gap than a galaxy fold after five iterations
Oooooh so true. I want to like the Galaxy Fold/Flip devices but the bendy screen scares me.

The SP form factor with the DMG color scheme is peak design.
So MuOS was the winner, huh? Cool.
Ordered my flipzizzle a few days ago!
dweeb.

That's so exciting. What game are you going to play first? Thanks for watching!
