I have 2 questions, but first, thank you for your videos. I think you do a fantastic job. Definitely one of the most pleasant reviewers to listen to and you explain everything very well. 1. Could you explain Teleport 2? 2. While playing solo, if I have 2 separate enemies spawned, do they both attack (if I’m within their range)? Thanks again!
one question for the hellhound you didn't attack with magic but the melee defense you didn't take a wound but he hat a bam so my question did you forget to take a wound or not?
ok no problem i was just asking if i understood something wrong or not ^^ as i have the game too and we did some mistakes when we played it the first time so i was watching this video (which is very good to understand the game)
Toucan Play that Game the inner rage ability for your class is what he is talking about, it has the bloodlust keyword, so you have to do yourself damage to activate it.
Can you play all missions/campaign with 1 character? No more controlling 4 characters to play solo?? If so, this plus the campaign is a HUGE selling point for me. 4 characters in Zombicide was just too many at times.
Good video. One minor comment aside from the Bloodlust issue - the hellhound should trigger the Bam icon - you mentioned it was on "Magic Defense", but it says "Melee Defense".
whats the purpose of the second door in the tutorial lol? I mean who is gonna bother with it when you can book ass to the end of the hall and hit the exit? Also how DO you use the exit? it doesnt say in the game instructions
second door is meant to be a quicker exit than going back to the door you already opened. If you read the rules that second door does not spawn a door card since you have already been in the hallway you are moving back into.
Waiting for mine to arrive =D, may i use sleeves 88x63,5mm for char cards and 63x41mm for equipament cards is all i need? How many of them 1 pack of the big and 2 of the minor one´s? Thanks =D
I don't sleeve so I can't confirm personally, but I did find this answer on BGG that should hopefully help you boardgamegeek.com/article/26519218#26519218
Helpfull video as pointed out a couple of rules I missed. 25 Minutes in you kill the minion but you had enough damage to also kill the boss as well without using another action. Rulesbook page 35 example has "The Dwarf Defenders endure 3 Wounds (6 - 3 ). Since their Health is 2, 1 Minion is killed and another takes 1 Wound" so looks like the damage carries over.
Nope, rulebook page 36 : "Only after all Minions have been eliminated can the Heroes target the Boss. Even if the Attack that kills the last Minion could still deal more Wounds, those are ignored and a new Attack must be made to kill the Boss."
No the minion died as a result of the counter attack (a mob only gets a single attack no matter the number of figures in it). The Boss did then get to do an attack due to it being the monster phase though.
+Sylvain Delage some certainly are and you can make it more difficult using more people. Also story mode makes it harder for the first few quests, but then much easier for the later ones so suggest not using it.
unless you are doing a campaign and you move onto the next quest with the items, exp, and skills you picked up in the previous quest lol, so no your character does not have to reset
@@sleepyBear33 yeah and then you enter with your lvl 5 hero onto the first tile on the next quest and can't use your skills nor weapons because the tile says so.
@@kosterix123 Actually, the level of the scenario is tied to the level of the lowest level hero. So if they are all level 5, the scenario starts at level 5, and therefore everyone gets all their level 5 gear and skills.
His accent drives me absolutely nuts. Every time he says three he pronounces it as free and at first I thought he kept on talking about free actions or something of the sort.
Anyfink! Love the accent. Excellent video to summarize the basic rules.

Just a note you have to pay one health each time to use a "bloodlust" ability
one question for the hellhound you didn't attack with magic but the melee defense you didn't take a wound but he hat a bam so my question did you forget to take a wound or not?
It was an error on my part, I read it as Magic defence not Melee defence, sorry.
ok no problem i was just asking if i understood something wrong or not ^^ as i have the game too and we did some mistakes when we played it the first time so i was watching this video (which is very good to understand the game)
I think you take a wound each time for Bloodlust, depending on what level it is.
+Marv Art as in Seigfried should take a wound to do one to the enemy? It doesn't say that just that you do a wound to them.
Toucan Play that Game the inner rage ability for your class is what he is talking about, it has the bloodlust keyword, so you have to do yourself damage to activate it.
Sorry, don't have the game yet
But rules say [Bloodlust X] - To activate this Skill, the Hero must voluntarily
take X Wounds.
INNER RAGE & BLOODLUST skills would both deal your hero a wound when used. Don't think it would have KO'd your hero. Thanks for the gameplay though

yes you can, though recommend playing with more to make it harder.
Cool thanks!
Good video.

Thanks Tristan! You are very right, just misread the card.

Quest sucks. Should at least have a guardian at the exit.
It is a tutorial for christs sake! It’s not meant to be a great quest but teach game mechanics!
second door is meant to be a quicker exit than going back to the door you already opened. If you read the rules that second door does not spawn a door card since you have already been in the hallway you are moving back into.
I know this is an older video, can anyone tell me what allowed the reroll on the first fight?

Thanks for watching Garry. As Etienne points out the damage carries over for minions but a boss needs to be attacked once all minions are dead.
I stand corrected. I had missed that thanks.
+Garry Holleran you're welcome. Hope you have fun with it 😊
no damage does NOT carry over to the boss...EVER
Do you also you get micro XP for killing bosses , when you're in story mode
Did you miss the counter attack phase after the first minion died leaving the boss ?
No the minion died as a result of the counter attack (a mob only gets a single attack no matter the number of figures in it). The Boss did then get to do an attack due to it being the monster phase though.
I hope the real quest is harder than the tutorial :)
+Sylvain Delage some certainly are and you can make it more difficult using more people. Also story mode makes it harder for the first few quests, but then much easier for the later ones so suggest not using it.
There is an aura deck. And a boss AI deck.
at 20 mins in you dont apply a Bam for the dogs reflective damage
How are people saying this is easy? I've played 5 games. I haven't gotten close to beating it once. The roaming monsters are nigh impossible.
Isn't transmuting items part of a character's actions? You took a ton of actions if that is the case :P
It is part of the actions phase, but it is a free action that doesn't count against the 3 they get each round.
Ahhh fair enough, thanks for clarifying!
You're welcome :)
A bit pointless, if you reach the exit, game ends, character gets reset.
unless you are doing a campaign and you move onto the next quest with the items, exp, and skills you picked up in the previous quest lol, so no your character does not have to reset
