Yes sir he’s using a very bad interpretation not a translation and I really don’t know where he got it from , when you look for the correct translation you make sure it’s translated word for word I know there is few out there close enough but I don’t really know the best one . I’ll have to do deep research before I can recommend any of them i speak Arabic very well so I do the translation my self and I know how the Quran works as it has its own laws , so i try my best not to say anything that might mislead people but Iam still a human being .

For a start in my own opinion, the verse in question, both the English translation and the Arabic, said the same thing. If we look at the tafsir, it clearly said those who are too young such that has not started menstruating, too young can only ne 10 and below? The same for those too old, the tafsir clarify the argument in support of what david was trying to present.

The Corpus Coranicum gives 2:2 for l-kitābu, meaning book. And in no verse is the same word translated into a word other than a word describing the text. But you certainly know how to show me that the classical Arabic and Koranic history connoisseurs are wrong. I look forward to it.

There are stories in the Koran that I and the contemporaries of the alleged Mohammed know and know to be from the Gnostics 300 - 500 AD. And in addition, there is a story in the Koran that is Christian folklore from events that happened in the 500s, 300s... so I know that it was invented by people and yet it is in the Koran and because of that Allah claims that it really happened. And the stories of polytheistic pagans who believe in the stars have also been put into Allah's mouth.
All that is needed to disprove the Qur'an is to show its contradictions. The Koran claims to be a book and Muslims claim it is the eternal uncreated speech of Allah... well, there are so many contradictions in the Koran that scholars have had to develop a whole doctrine to resolve those contradictions... that explanation is not theologically coherent. In Q 26:192-196 you can read that the Koran confirms the earlier scriptures... which unequivocally state that Mohammed cannot be a prophet of the God of Abraham.

There is no miracle in the Koran, nothing that the author of the Koran could not have known in the 7th century. (if somewhere you can find the Koran (with Islamic content from 700 chapters.) The Koran is contradictory and confusing... in it Allah uses himself in the first and royal second person and for some reason also in the third person.
So the Koran does not stand on its own feet, but the meaning has to be explained to it because it is not read in it, or the Koran cancels its revelation.
A person like me does not worship idols. No human word or deed can save a person. Rubbing a stone and a corner of a building does not wash away sins... and no words make anyone acceptable to the Lord. God's grace saves us. And that is what we must ask God with an honest mind and pure heart.
For years I believed what people told me about the Koran. Until I started reading. I read the Koran and the Hadiths and noticed how contradictory and filled with human desires both were... where does God need to divide the spoils? Or what is the benefit to God that the prophet has sexual freedoms that others do not have? And shouldn't the prophet also be an example of strength of mind? I found a greedy, lustful and weak man to be a prophet. I can't respect that.
I believe more in what I have read Scholars say about the origin and stages of the Koran than in what the narrative of Islam tells about it. Because that narrative has been caught lying...often.

From those verses, the so-called The principle of abrogation, i.e. the doctrine of the abrogation of verses of the Qur'an ( naskh ), arose from the observation that some passages of the Qur'an were contradictory. As verses 16:67, 47:15 and 83:25 contradict verse 2:219. Likewise 9:5 vs 9:36...so do you have to fight the heathens during the holy months as well?
Other contradictions: 6:100-101 vs 39:3-4 and 1:3 vs 4:56 etc. etc. etc.
