Great review. Just to add there are 4 rubber bungs/spacers underneath the box to stop it rattling on the mount plate. do not loose these as they are not available as a spare from KTM (UK) and do come out easily when you slide the box on. if anyone knows how to get a spare let me know :)

Thanks for doing this video was very informative! I have been trying to decide between this and a Givi top case. The OEM matches the bike a bit more but the Givi would be something I could use on any bike with a top rack. OEM is also more expensive, decision decisions. Thanks again for the video.
One question does it come with the bracket that you mount top rack or is that separate. I know the side cases you have to buy the bracket.
You're welcome 👍. The topcase & bracket were installed in the store, and in the KTM catalog it is shown together without a seperate ordernr for the bracket, so I think it should come together. But you better check it before ordering, I had a comment in the past from someone who ordered the topcase and there was no bracket with it, maybe a bad delivery, and I checked the bottom of my plate there's a partnr on it (619.12.911.100). Hi man. Your shoei helmet size should be small or medium. I have large size and if i try to fit inside sides of helmet is being scratched.
Hi, the size of my helmet is a medium. I just checked and I have maximum 15mm space from the side of the helmet to the inside of the topbox were the lock is. Could it help if you put your helmet into a helmetbag to avoid scratches, normally a Shoei helmet comes with such a bag.
No mention of the attachment points? Does it attach to factory points on the bike? I assume it does. Does it also come with the hardware necessary to mount? Are there options for the bike that come with the hard case? or are they aftermarket KTM dealer accessories only? Sorry for being such a noob - I'm thinking about buying this bike for me and the old lady.
The mounting plate fits on the original rack that is on the bike. Mine was installed by the dealer when I ordered my bike, but I think that everything to instal comes with the topcase. Just the backrest was ordered separatly

I have some problems to introduce my Schubert C4 Pro.
What size is your helmet ? My helmet is a medium sized Shoei GT AIR II...I think some helmet sizes are just too big to fit properly in the touring topcase 😔
@@FlamesAdventureSMy size is XL. However I have the Schuberth C3Pro, and I have no problem. It is a matter of the design of the visor of the C4 Pro, which protrudes from the sides of the helmet and is wider

Hello, maybe it's an idea to use packing cubes to organize your clothes and stuff in the topcase. I think you can make optimal use of the space with packing cubes.
