Hi Jess...dunno if ur a trends guy but I just found this. Teams who have homecourt ( Bos ) who win game 1 are 46-13 to win the series. Road teams who win game 1 are 8-10 to win the series.
Maybe an indication that the better team usually has home court? Keeping in mind that in the first and second round you have a lot of huge mismatches that skew those stats.
@@jesseschulepicks Those are stats for the finals only. Also home teams in game 1's are 16-3 ATS. In the last 40 years home favs are 31-9 SU. Of the 31 they are 24-7 to win the series.

Lively is a double double candidate most likely a couple games this season. Luka had a triple double in both games they played this season. I think he gets there at least twice this series. I’m with you Jessie. Dallas is a live dog. Unless by some miracle Tatum “developed that killer instinct” I just don’t see it. If Boston wins I’d say Brown is the MVP. Boston is 1/3 in game 2’s this playoffs. If they lose game 1 they may not make it back to Boston 😂

Against OKC and Min the bigs ( Chet/Kat ) couldn't make their 3's. If Porzingis gets going for me it'll be the x factor. The 1 game Kat made his 3's Min won.
I just posted NBA standings since the All Star break on Twitter ...I think that gives us an indication that these teams might be closer than some expect.
@@jesseschulepicks Yes it's been talked about by various experts that Dallas after the break has improved. Coupled that with their great showing in these playoffs and Boston having faced inferiors teams that's why the majority have Dallas to win. I believe they are a public dog even in game 1. Just saw that 73% of the bets and 81% of the money is on Dallas +6.5. But maybe I'm hardheaded but I still have Boston to win in game 1 by 10+ pts and to win the series in 5 or 6 games. Porzingis has to play well and stay healthy. He for me is the one that sways this series. If he Tatum and Brown can score 70 pts combined and limit Luka and Irving to 60 pts then that might be enough. Oh well we shall soon know. Anyways the better team usually wins.

Whats crazy people not really analyzing this match up and the +2200 for Kyrie to win MVP says a whole lot he 0-10 against the Celtics since he left im taking his PRA Under each game they will lock him down and limit Luka they don't have dny other consistent play makers to back them in consitant shooting just because the Celtics didn't go hard in there games doesn't mean they underrated they had the best record and the #1 seed and when they need to play hard i notice they will with competition you will see a more urgent team when they play the Mavs watch
