- Technoblade's passing took me by surprise -- a reminder of how quickly life can change, which brought back memories of my Grandma's passing from cancer. From the ER to her passing in only a matter of weeks, she was gone. And as I watched Techno's Father recite his letter to all of us, I felt so much for him and his family. As I wrote a song for my Grandma to reflect my family's love for her, I had to do the same for Techno and his family.
Music has helped so many lives, including mine, and so I hope this song brings only comfort to those still grieving, especially to Techno's family. May this song carry his legacy for that much longer!
*All revenue from this will go to the charity above, so please know this is not for my sake, but for the sake of Techno's family and his community. That we can grieve and process this together through song is my hope

The time I heard, "If you're watching this, I am dead." my brain had stopped functioning, I didn't even think if it was a joke or real, my mind was just blank. When I realised we had actually lost him, I cried for a long time. He was really brave and never deserved what he had to go through. Rest in peace, Techno.

It's so true, do you think Techno would want us to sit around doing nothing but being sad? He wants us to move on from his death, and focus on what we can do to continue his legacy, for the good of all those who are suffering.

The song isn't just something for technoblade, it can also be for all the other people in our lives that have passed, it's a song special in a way of comfort yet acknowledgment of life it self.

I wasn’t too worried when he announced he had cancer. I was almost optimistic about him recovering, especially after him telling us he was almost better. Then this. I love you so much Techno. You helped me during my harder times and the times I felt alone. Being diagnosed in 2019 with thyroid cancer destroyed me, but Technoblade carried me through. I’ve officially beaten it and it was all for him. It’s all for you man

This comment really made me sob. I’m still getting used to people mentioning techno in videos so naturally, it seems weird. I still miss him. His videos got me through so many hard assignments, essays and everything. It’s so strange.
He's laughing at us bc we're crying now... His goal was to make us smile and laugh and he actually made it! He made us laugh! now let's not waste his efforts of making us laugh let's always laugh for him!

A few months ago, a friend of mine died to a brain tumor. She was young, only fifteen when she passed. I wasn’t very close with her, but we were in some clubs and sports together, so we talked and spent a lot of time together. She was so kind to everyone, and she tried to make everyone happy. She was a great person. When I was sad, she cheered me up. When I needed a hug, she was there. Her name was Abby.
And then, a month ago, Technoblade passed. When I heard of Abby’s passing, the first thing I did was watch a Technoblade video to cheer me up. That’s what I always did when I was sad. When my grandfather died last year, when I was going through so much pain and trauma and the screams became too loud, I drowned them out with his voice. And then, he was gone, just like Abby, and it reopened a wound that I thought had healed. In fact, it cut even deeper into the wound, it hurt me more.
I couldn’t sleep the night of June 30th. I didn’t sleep much better over the next week. Remembering both of them was painful for me.
I know they’re both in some kind of Heaven now, looking down on everyone. Alex is watching from the throne he took from god, and I believe that Abby is beside him, one of the purest angels.
She sounds like an amazing person… I’m so sorry you had to lose her and so many others. Sometimes life just isn’t fair. My heart goes out to you. ;)

My heart goes out to you, I have never lost anybody other than Technoblade before so I don't know how it feels. But I have friends who have before. So they know what it is like. One of them lost somebody last week and are still really upset.

I’ve been in denial for the majority of his journey fighting cancer, and thought that he would definitely recover. I had been hoping that he would suddenly just appear again, out of nowhere, like he had used to do when he disappeared for months. Now it just constantly hits me that he’s not here anymore, and never will be ever again. I just hope that we will never forget what he had done for us. Rest In Peace.

The word/name Technoblade should have its own meaning now, like strong or brave. He was amazing and lived his best life even with cancer trying to cut him down, he made us videos and even updated us on everything… He is not dead to our memories, and I fully respect and feel for his family (mother, father and I’m pretty sure he had a younger sister too), who are having it way worse than any of us (and that’s saying something!). Yes I really wanted to believe it wasn’t real I even broke down in my room the night I heard about it and I wish I could have done something more to help. And I have a project for school it’s a multi media poetry project and they said I could do a well known song or poem and I was thinking I’ll do it on a song but I wanted to to use Charlie’s injustice song he made but I’d rather have his permission first
I lost my grandfather to cancer and they made us leave the hospital I never got to hug him again or even say goodbye to him.

Technoblade was a inspiration to millions and it’s been a entire MONTH since he’s passed…I wish we lived in a fictional word where you could revive a person. I wish it was possible. I hate it. Life can be a dark nightmare, and it’s people like Techno that can let people be lost in a dream. Their death may temporarily make that dream wither, but it can’t disappear, as the memories they have given other people will never leave. When someone dies and the world puts their souls into making many beautiful things for you, then it is not worth feeling sad about it forever. It’s alright to be sad, but remember, he wouldn’t want that. If someone would cry for him, he’d want happy tears.

I've just read over the description and seen the multiple artists involved in this song. I just wanted to say that it's amazing how such a tragic event, like a death, really brings people closer together, making them realise how precious life is, and how it should be cherished and not taken for granted. Can't wait for this song.

Techno passing away showed me how easy it could’ve been for my mom to also die. She had breast cancer and it took a toll on everyone. Closer to the end of her recovery Techno revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer (on my birthday might I add) I wasn’t worried, especially after watching his video, he was so optimistic, as usual, i felt that he was going to be ok. How couldn’t he? He was the blood god, he never dies. Then, the video was posted. So long Nerds. That hit me, hard. Like a ton of bricks right the face. I had just bragged to my mom minutes before like “check this guy out, I’ve told you about him before, he’s epic” proceeded to tell her about him and his character. The cried in my room. Went to find my mom again, to tell her and make her cry with me cause she’s emotional. It hurt. So much. I thought he was getting better? Then the video? Crushing. But I’m happy to see so many songs and other tributes to Technoblade aspiring up. It’ll keep his memory alive. It’s so hard to accept he’s gone, but now he’s taking over the kingdom of god, he still hasn’t lost. He’s just moved on to harder challenges. Over 10 million people have been affected and brought closer together by one single man. Fly high man.

I had a friend, her name was Fauna. Me and fauna weren’t that close, but I still knew of her and things like that. Technos death hit her hard, and before I knew it, the news of her passing came. But I know she would have loved this song.

Believe it or not, this song allowed me to truly realize that Alex really had passed away. I have tried to acknowledge that fact,. I mean, hell, it's been two weeks, but a part inside of me refused to believe it. But, I also now realize that his battle had come to a draw. He's not suffering anymore, he's finally at peace. Damn, I bet he's up there right now 1v1-ing God.

Right now, my great grandfather is probably looking at me, smiling. He helped me overcome challenges that I have struggled with for years. He was once the only person I can share my emotions with. Sadly, he passed away because of COVID-19 last year.
I still remember him, no matter how far he's up in the sky.

Techno’s passing took many people a while to process, even myself, as I was watching the video, I was waiting for it to say “sike, still here” or smth like that. His death was tragic, but the world is still turning and we will have to survive without the amazing content and wonderful humor of the one we miss so dearly. Anyway, good song! It conveys the feeling of loss and made me very sad. I loved the lyrics and the art was great!
Oh I so hope the song helps more to accept the reality of what’s happened because we do miss him, but that he is any a better place on a different mission now 💜

I'm currently in tears. Its 3.30 and I can't sleep, just like most nights. Eventually when I do its never peaceful or as peaceful as before. I faced the biggest trauma in my life a year ago and then I found Technoblade. And he made me be able to sleep peacefully again. I miss him so much ❤ I miss him, I miss him, I miss Techno.

Very untrue. We knew and loved Technoblade before he went. All losing him to cancer did was hurt his family, friends, and fans. At least he's at "peace" now.
@@zachrabaznaz7687 Im not saying that we did not appreciate and love technoblade before he went, im saying that when something truly is gone, that is when a human truly understands the true value of that person. This is shown in an example of thousands upon thousands of people wishing farewell, and countless games adding tributes within. The loss of techno has made the community realize that he had an even greater affect on everyone than we already knew, showing us he was worth so much more.

Its so true I didn't think Technoblade would be so far away so soon I feel like my childhood has shattered.I will never look at minecraft or the dream smp the same ever again now that he is gone.This is such a hard time our god has died and is fighting in the stars.I'm glad I got the honor to be called a nerd in his community never thought I would say that.We all knew he would leave but not at 23.He was the best idol you could ever ask for.He is many things to a potato farmer,a blood god and minecraft youtuber.I now understand how important this all is I hope UA-cam doesn't delete his channel we need that still.Its all we have left of him other then contributes and merchandise.Those don't hold the happiness he gave us in full.I hope he is flying high.

He is not completely gone, his legacy lives on and somehow i feel like his spirit lives on with it. I can feel how proud of us he is, watching over us, still.
I havent been watching techno for that long but his death still hit me so hard. In the 2 years i have been watching him, some of the most fun and bright moments have just been me watching him. By now i have watched his SMP Earth, DSMP and Hypixel stream. Despite that, there is just this feeling of emptiness inside of me which doesnt go away. This song really helps to connect with the memories that i have of him and if only for a few minutes, it helps to wash away that feeling of emptiness in my heart. Thank you for making this masterpiece of a song.

I remember the day he passed. I kept saying "this has to be a joke right? It's not real right, right?!". It hit me so badly. Props to Philza for streaming a bit after to help people cope, props to everyone who made so many tributes, and props to Technodad for helping people grieve. Rest in peace Technoblade, we miss you.

This song speaks to me. It helps me cope with all the losses I've had over the years.
In 2016, my cousin died of a brain tumor, caused by not taking her vitamins. She was perfect, and so nice to all of my family. She slowly lost her mind, saying random things and becoming so broken that she couldn't even recite her ABC's: She just kept saying random numbers.
In 2018, we lost our family cat, 12 years and living out on our porch. She was wonderful and always comforted us when we were sad.
In January, 2022, our two new family cats, two males, were taken by the dog that our neighbors owned, probably eaten alive. Or perhaps they're off living new lives.
2020, those cats' siblings, a female and a male, died. The female died of being run over; the male of a dog attack, and a gun to the head after being wounded.
I cried to this song, but it felt renewing. Thank you, DHuesta. This is a great song, made for great people and their losses, and made by an even greater man.

I didn’t know who Technoblade was aside from my friend showing me small clips.
I found him funny, I liked it, though I didn’t watch him myself.
My friend wasn’t responding to her texts a few days later, and I was wondering if something was off.
I soon found out that Technoblade had passed away.
This was a bullet to a lot of people, albeit not me, but I still feel terrible.
May friend, family, viewers, all find peace.
It feels surreal almost, to listen to a tribute like this a full year after we lost Technoblade and still have it stir up such powerful feelings. I was never much of a Technoblade watcher, but I know how much he changed people’s lives

This song hit really hard for me, when I found out about techno's death I cried for a solid hour. I couldn't believe that he was gone. I kept being in denial and couldn't face the truth. Seeing that I am not the only one who was faced with this made it much better to deal with. Rest in peace Techno. ❤️
This is one of the best modern music that actually hit me, and just over all give me peace. It’s helped me understand that people may be gone but there memories live on with the people they hold close. What I’ve learned is that no one is truly gone till the memories are forgotten.

This song is beautiful. It shows how hard it it’s to accept the fact that Techno is now truly gone. It also shows how much Techno has impacted our lives, we never really appreciate what people have done for us before they are gone. Last year I lost three family members my mom committed suicide, my two uncle’s died of medical conditions and before my mom died I lost my brother to suicide as well. This really helps because I haven’t fully recovered from my mother’s death.. I still dream about her being here with me so this song really brings tears to my eyes. I also admired Technoblade and watching his videos got me to smile again sadly he’s no longer with us

This song is deep. When Technodad read ¨If your hearing this then I am dead¨ had me in tears. I already had to deal with my grandpa and his dog dying and then about a year later Techno goes. Sometimes I feel like the universe is against me but, I will always know that Techno will never be forgotten, he was to big of an icon to forget. Sometimes I just watch his DSMP lives to remember him.

This is sad because my father also passed away due to cancer... AND IT WAS AT THE AWFUL YEAR OF 2020. Anyway, it's nice to see that Dheusta had the same experience as well. My condolences to your grandma. The part that saddens me the most about Technoblade's death is the fact that he died so young. 23 is too young for a cancer patient to die, at least in my book. RIP Technoblade.

Techno blade has inspired many including me. He made many laugh. I know I wasn't a person who would watch him a lot it is still very sad about his pass. I had many people in my life killed by cancer. He may have fought but he never loss. The cancer went down with him. It was a draw. The thing that made me so happy was when he still made videos for all of his fans and never gave up. After he died the Minecraft community was heart broken. I say it a lot but you have fought hard now rest at your throne king. Technoblade never dies.

I had to do something but I couldn't. He made so many of us happy. The king shall never be forgotten. It was therapeutic, but now he's gone, we have to keep his legacy living.
