It's not that simple. Often afro hair is time-consuming and difficult to care for. Depending on the industry you work in, and if you live in a majority white country, black women have been told that their natural hair is "unprofessional". Black women's natural hair is beautiful, but please don't judge those that wear wigs, weaves or straighten their hair. Sincerely a woman with an afro (who also wears wigs sometimes).
This woman. she makes me feel more confident about my afro and when kids talk about the way my hair is "so poofy and weird." she makes me feel inspired to be me and love my hair for its natural beauty :)

There was a daycare centre near my place of work years ago and I would see this chap dropping his son off every morning and I swear a third of his height was afro! Made me smile 😁
It's really hard to avoid breakage with an afro. Good luck to her.during covid my hair broke off probably didn't do enough hair care
I was honestly so shocked when I found out that Afro’s aren’t even really that common, considering how beautiful they actually are I seriously think that it’s time for us to normalize this in 2021 because I think they are extremely beautiful. I mean it’s like having a cloud on your head, that’s honestly so cool. I would say I’m jealous but I’ve heard how hard it is to take care of it.
Probably not the world’s biggest afro, considering the amount of people in the world with afro textured hair
Exactly😭
As someone who started her natural hair journey 6 years ago, I stan!!! I love it!!! #SlayQueen
That’s the most beautiful Afro I’ve ever seen .
💖
Then you haven’t seen a lot lol
We are all going Afro. Love my afro. Afro hair is amazing. We can do anything we want with it. Very versatile.
Bravo mommy I've always loved a woman with a natural look outstanding keep it growing now 😎💯
Mommy?
I just know one of these natural hair youtubers could beat the record in no time
Simone, you are SO BOMB!😍🤩Congratulations on holding the record Queen. 🙌🏼❤️🌹🌸💕👑
Wow! She is bringing back the 70's style. Beautiful young woman and love the hair. At least you haven't change your body or face. You are naturally beautiful don't change.
Oh my gosh she’s got amazing hair! What a beauty!
I like her, she's so natural. Gorgeous!
Your hair is just so bold and beautiful on you …I love ❤️ it
The only black women i ever saw who love her natural hair i really admire her alot.all black women seem to be obsess with getting their hair straight and she is soooo beutiful .
Amazing afro.
I wish me and my family still has it.
I'm glad you're doing this; hopefully it will catch on. Some schools and workplaces have banned the natural hairstyle, preferring styled hair, instead. But you're proving that it doesn't look unkempt. Good luck reclaiming your title. 🙂
Love this 💕! I have locs now, but I love my natural hair also🤗! Wouldn’t have it any other way🙏🏿! Thanks for sharing ❤️!
I think she is absolutely divine. Her and her hair.❤❤❤ I hope you achieve your goals, and keep that beautiful smile smiling.!
Her FRO is goalzzz🥰❤️
Omg I want her hair it’s beautiful ❤️❤️✨✨
Shes rocking that afro! I love it❤👍
Wow! She is incredibly positive. She gives off the best energy, an endearing personality & is absolutely gorgeous! I really enjoyed this one!
Can we bring this back instead of the wigs?? Embrace your natural beauty
It’s the Maintainance 😅 at least for me
Who cares if it’s natural or a wig? Mind your own sis..
Or embracing doing whatever you want to express yourself and not judge anyway
@@cherrywilson6267 Wear what you want but wigs are ugly & scream self hate.
She just looks stunning, really beautiful, you inspire me to wear my hair the way it naturally is
Finally a Hooked on the Look that I can get with!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!!!
This woman. she makes me feel more confident about my afro and when kids talk about the way my hair is "so poofy and weird." she makes me feel inspired to be me and love my hair for its natural beauty :)
LOVE it! I have always thought afros are super cool!
Her voice is so soothing. The afro is such an important symbol of black empowerment. It is more than just a hairstyle; it is an expression of fearlessness, unapologetic blackness and taking up space in a world that wants us small. It is not just hair.
🌼❤ She is a real true afro beauty ❤🌼
Girl is lucky to have such thick healthy hair.
YES, YES, YES QUEEN!! I love it! ❤️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Omg! Her beauty is out of this world 🌟👑
“Accessory”??? 🙄You know what.... 🤨
Shoutout to the PUREBLACK DEEP MELANINATED GROWNWOMAN who PREVIOUSLY held this title ON ACCIDENT, just from minding her business and wearing her hair like she just wears it.
These are cute lil gentrified narratives that “truly” always pushes tho. ☕️😌 FOHWTBS
The only hoocked on the look i look up to
Absolutely beautiful!
Hey Simone!!! I worked with her before and she is soooo lovely. So proud of your accomplishments. You look beautiful!!!
I feel sorry for the people who get stuck behind her at movie theatres or concerts.
Wow...nice! Her hair looks so big.
My hair is not as big, but it's big enough that when I wear it out I sweat like crazy, more power to her though!❤
The hair is so beautiful 🥰😍❤
