Earlier my fan having noise... I brought new one & changed it.
After two days again i am getting noise from new fan as well..
🫠Regarding your question, what type of thermal paste you used (what brand)?
you need to change the thermal paste with a good brand.

Fan works fine when there is less load on cpu but when load increase it starts to vibrate and makes weired sound.
something like this happed to up at the store for one of my clients, and we replaced the fan 3 times, and on the 4th we went with different brand and provider for the fans.

Thank you very much for the informative video! I don't know how much time you had with this laptop but can you tell me if it's normal for the air of one side of the coolers be hotter than the other? I see that the die of the cpu is mostly on one heat pipe but isn't there a heatspreader layer that would prevent this? I'm having this "problem" and I was hoping that getting a repaste would solve it but seeing the video it seems to be the design 🥲🥲

Regarding your question, yes you will always feel that one side is hotter than the other side, unless GPU and GPU load are high, then both side will be hot.
the reason is the fan curve of the left side or the right side are separate one is based on GPU and one is based for CPU. so if the CPU dye heatsup more the fan for that side will spin more. if the GPU dye is under load and the fan for it will spin and that side will heat more.

Hello sir, thanks for your video ! I have a very similar pc : ASUS X571LI with an i5-10300h and a gtx 1650 ti. I wanted to know if the internals were the same as yours, if i needed to replace the thermal pads when removing the heatsink, if i could clean the vents with alcohol and if using pressurized air to clean the fans would damage them (as they would be spinning while beeing turned off). Maybe opening them would be better ? Anyway, with or without answer, i wanted to tell you that the tutorial is very well made ! 💯

Regarding your question, the process is nearly identical internally, so you're in good hands. For cleaning the vents, it's safe to use isopropyl alcohol with a concentration of 98% or higher. When it comes to using compressed air for the fans, please ensure the fans are disconnected from the motherboard before proceeding. This allows you to safely spin them without risk. However, if they remain connected and are spun rapidly, it can generate voltage that flows back into the motherboard, potentially causing damage. Essentially, any fan can act like an electric dynamo.
I recommend disassembling them to remove any dust accumulation before blowing air. Sometimes, if there's a significant buildup of dust and you directly blow air onto it, the dust can enter the fan mechanism and prevent the fan from spinning properly.

If so, were there many screws or fragile parts that should be taken into consideration before proceeding ? I was also worried about the thermal pads since removing the heatsink would maybe require to change them. Regarding the vents, if i clean them with isopropyl using a toothbrush, would i need to wait for them to dry (or accelerate the process with a hair dryer ?). For the thermal paste, i found the Cooler Master MASTERGEL PRO V2 in a tube of 1,5 ml. Would that be enough ? It's my pleasure my friend to help, regarding the fan opening it is not fragile just remove the tiny screws and open the fan, it is just like playing lego, it is very simple and it is not delicate, i do open them daily on many laptops and service them, i been doing this for past 18years not :(
you can clean it with 98%+ iso alcohol. no need to wait for dry just blow some air in to the fan and that is all 5min wait before powering on (by the time you finish putting the laptop back together it will be more than 5min :P ).
the cooler master is super fine and 1.5mm is more than enough.

i would highly recommend not to touch the pads, the pads don't need changing, unless they are very damaged.

@@uFixTek Do you have already graphic's problems with this computer? Like horizontal lines on the top of sreen, even in the bios, and safe mode. After a moment everything's freeze, beyond the screen i can see process works but the problem is too strong... Hope when i update the UHD & screen's drivers but for short time. 🫠Regarding your question, the speakers are glued with adhesive. Apply 95% isopropyl alcohol under the speakers to make it easier to remove them. If needed, you can purchase new speakers from AliExpress. Replacing them is very simple and easy. Use double-sided tape to secure the new speakers in place.

Hola quisiera comprarme esta laptop pero he visto que varios usuarios se quejan de la temperatura. Quisiera saber si es cierto que sufre estrangulamiento térmico por falta de tuberias de disipación ya que este modelo solo tiene 2.
Claro, nos llegan muchos de esos modelos por fallas de sobrecalentamiento y fallas en componentes como los reguladores de voltaje. No recomiendo que lo compren.

Regarding your question, use a sharp corner flat screw driver that can fit inside the damaged screws, and the flat head drewdriver can help, if not let me know i assist you more.

Hello,may I ask what should I do if my laptop is at 95° when playing light gaming and cpu temp at 55° when idle? I've already cleaned and repasted MX-6 thermal paste and cleaned the fan and heat sink. Lately, it shuts down, then restart when CPU temp reaches 95°.

🫠Regarding your question, did you make sure that you heatsing vents are cleaned?, and also you may have aun even heatsink, this is very common.
use a thick thermal paste like: arctic silver 5: amzn.to/4e5Lz7M
or the other option is to use a copper shim .5mm: amzn.to/3Vi2r2y
and with copper shim use the MX-6, also make sure your thermal paste is original, there are so many fake paste out there.
and place the thermal paste on the GPU/CPU and place the copper shim on top center it, and place one drop of the paste on top of the copper shim and then place the heatsink straight and screw it and enjoy.

I have the same laptop and I've tried to install an 2.5 SATA SSD but I didn't have the connector. I've bought one on the Chinese shop and when I've connected it to laptop and SSD and started the laptop the strip MELTED instantly. I think I've bought a wrong connector. @@uFixTek Thank you for your response! I've counted that there are 10 pins there on the laptop's motherboard connector and there were also 10 pins on that strip that I've bought on Chinese shop. When I've turned on the laptop with the SSD connected to it, the side of the strip started burning so I've immediately turned off the laptop (the battery wasn't connected). I've read later that the 2 pins on the side (out of 10 pins) of the connector are a 5 Volt lines to power the SSD. The connector on the laptop's motherboard is intact and it was checked by the repair guy. I've asked him if he could buy a proper connector and install the SSD but he said that he won't do it because those connectors are very faulty and it's hard to buy a good one that will work and will be reliable.

That tiny drop of paste only is enough? why so very tiny?
Oh, it is more than enough to use just a raindrop-sized amount. Due to the pressure from the heatsink and the lack of space between them, that small drop will be sufficient. You can perform a simple quick test by placing a small drop only on the GPU or CPU, then placing the heatsink over it and applying pressure. When you lift it back up, you will see that the thermal paste has spread to cover the entire surface of the GPU or CPU.
It's important to ensure that you clean the surface properly before reapplying the thermal paste. If you apply too much paste, it can overflow and contaminate the BGA chip. This can lead to poor thermal performance.
