Hello! Your heuchera looked great to me! Mine are doing poorly and I recently dug up, amended the soil and then replanted. I saw that in addition to a few leaves, they each had several woody stems with nothing coming out of them. Do I cut these! I have no idea how to rejuvenate. I love mine so much, but they just aren't performing. Love your yellow one!

I have heucheras that need trimming like this but I have read that it should be done in the spring. Your video was published in late July so can I assume that it’s fine to do this now, which is early July as I write this?

My plants were doing amazingly well and then a deer got into the fenced area. He took out 3 plants that I was going to split in the fall, a violet, and the mother of ground cover I’ve forgotten the name of.
Deer resistant means just that.
Putting up new fencing.
Sigh.
Great upload. I’ll need it for my remainder of good plants.
