What a genius idea to make a video about nail care on the budget especially now where prices are crazy high ! A lot of us forgets that there are good products out there for fraction of the cost! Now I wanna go to my Dollar Tree and see what I can find:-) Thank you for this fun and informative video!!!
I buy the L.A. Colors polish all the time - it wears like IRON on me and they have great colors for an extremely cheap price. Nucolor is pretty good, too. The Kiss Gel Polish chips on me in less than 24 hours.
The L.A. Color’s polish is great! Another one that I found absolutely good is Sally Hansen’s Xtreme (not gel) wear polish (not at DT), especially the black color, it seems to go on with one coat js
I enjoyed shopping with you and spending no money, lol, but I love DT nail products, especially the Kiss nail polishes. I have the nail polish holder and added the cuticle oil to a bottle of acetone only because I have other cuticle oils I love to use. I love my OPI glass file that I've had for years but hope to find the one like yours, it's so pretty! I want to try the LA Colors base coat, the beautiful blue polish (yes, they need to give it a name!), & the quick dry top coat. I found a small tube of cuticle remover last summer and it works pretty good. I will stay away from that nipper though! TFS!
I enjoyed the video. My dollar tree doesn’t have the polish holder and I like that they have the names of the item on the receipt. Mine just has polish. Lol.
I just got into nails recently and completely forgot about Dollar Tree! I don't know if the one where I live have the same products, but whenever I get a chance, I am going to check it out! I can't find glass files anywhere near me, but maybe they might have it.
If I don't have cuticle remover, I'd use the cuticle oil to soften the cuticle, then use the cuticle pusher (in a pinch). Then clean nail with Rubbing Alcohol. I do love using a glass file. Your nails did turn out really cute. Loving the color. ❤️
As a nail enthusiast who knows quite a bit about gel, I would recommend caution around gels and gel lamps sold in very cheap places. Uncured product can cause allergies and a lot of R&D goes into making lamps that will cure product to a safe level at every angle. Cheaply produced gels may also contain a lot of monomer, which can cause heat spikes that when too hot, can burn your nail and the nail bed underneath. Okay, PSA over. Good luck with your manis, people!
I LOVE DT nail polishes, LA Colors in particular. Names don't matter to me at all. The QD topcoat, however, was a disaster for me, and I tossed it - Seche Vite or indie QD topcoats are totally worth the money, IMO. The nippers, too: OMG, they went right in the garbage! I need to try that little polish holder!!!! This was fun, TFS 😻 Britt
In the winter I tend to wear fake nails usually the Olive & June, Kiss, etc. I noticed that Dollar Tree sold a small packet of L.A. Colors fake photos nails - they were a 12 pack only, but because I was simply trying them, I made it work without buying two packs. Of course no glue - but I have that in abundance because you get it with most nail packets. I applied the nails, then trimmed them down because they were way too long for my preference. I’m going on a week and a half with them and I have to admit that these might be my favorites! I will be picking more up to have on hand.
I use the LA COLORS Mega Grow as a top coat - it does dry past the tacky point to a nice hard finish that is as close to a gel top coat as I have found outside of an actual gel. I looked at the bottle when you said it was a base coat and didn't see that printed anywhere on it - not saying you can't use it that way, it just didn't occur to me.
I KNOW THIS VIDEO IS A YEAR OLD.... BUT GIRL I'VE BEEN INTO NAILS LATELY AND HUNNY DOLLAR TREE IS IT I FOUND SOME CLEAR NAILS 100 IN A PACK AND THEY ARE FABULOUS😍😍😍😍
I like the nail file, and I love it. I don't recommend the nail polish removed with the pump. It doesn't work. Dollar Tree has a cuticle remover. It's okay! Thank you for the video. I was curious about the nail polish holder.

Thank you! It’s for a sure a nice reminder that we don’t have to spend $10+ on a nail product in order for it to be good!
Don't sleep on that dollar tree 😆 beautiful color. Always such amazing content
Lol no! They have good stuff!
I love that super dry top coat...one of my faves 😘it gets gloopy but polish thinner works great to fix it
That’s good to know!
This was a great video!!!! Ty for sharing DT does have a lot of useful items in different categories 👍👍👍👍👍💅
Thank you! ❤️
Loving this Dollar Tree haul and nail video!
Thank you! ❤️
Those 2 colors would make a REALLY pretty ombré

I love the Mega Grow Nail Treatment. I honestly think it works

The nipper was so bad!
I NEED to visit my Dollar Tree. It’s been awhile since I was there. Thank you for answering some of my questions. Your so informative. Great idea!
Thank you Rachel! ❤️
Your welcome. Complements are easy to say when they are true.
I enjoyed the video. My dollar tree doesn’t have the polish holder and I like that they have the names of the item on the receipt. Mine just has polish. Lol.

That’s a good tip! I forgot to mention that you can also put your fingers in water for a minute or so and that can help.
@@naillacquertherapy yes water also. 👍

Good to know!
And those oil’s that she purchased!!
This was a fun little haul! I’ll definitely be hitting up my DT tomorrow to see what goodies I might find! Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching! ❤️
Love dollar tree! Mine is all 1.25 now but still!
Same. So sad. It doesn’t feel the same lol
The diamond Super Dry topcoat is actually pretty good! I've used it a few times. It performs similar to the Sally Hansen quick dry topcoat imo.
That’s good to know!
Yeah it's all I use now!
Gotta go to dollar tree now!!
The cuticle cutter is GREAT for gem removal! Not great or good for cutting off the dead skin. Just a bit of an idea 💡
Good idea!
I LOVE DT nail polishes, LA Colors in particular. Names don't matter to me at all. I’m still in disbelief at how bad the nippers are lol
@@naillacquertherapy I KNOW! They're downright dangerous!

Dollar Tree is underrated for nail supplies! I should do an updated video.
Hi, I know this video is from last year but can you tell me what polish is on your nails? It’s gorgeous
Hello! I’m sorry, I’m not sure which one this was. 😕
They do have a name. It's right where the barcode is.
LA Colors does. But not the brand I’m talking about in this video
Oh if i ever travel to USA, i must visit dollar tree!
It’s a must!
AMEN!
How long does your nail polish last?
I can usually get about 4-5 days out of my polish.
@@naillacquertherapy very nice thanks!
Heaven 💅💅💓
❤️❤️❤️

I still haven’t tried the cuticle remover!
You should put hand lotion on before you do your cuticles. Makes them much softer and pushing back hurts less.
I didn’t really have much cuticle to push back here so I wasn’t too worried about it lol. Normally I do use cuticle remover.
The only thing I'm hesitant on is the cuticle oils made in China. Otherwise, great stuff!
Please help me find something else You're my best I've been watching you for 7
What are you looking for?
I’ve tried that rapid dry top coat, even 10 minutes later it wasn’t dry. Will never buy it again.
Thin coats always work best!
I've had similar bad luck with it. I'm sticking to my Seche Vite and indie QD top coats!
Love my Seché Vite! I stopped using all other top coats.
Are you at the one on the north west Arterial in dubuque?
No I don’t live in Iowa. ☺️
@@naillacquertherapy where are you from?
Illinois
Have you tried Maniology brand?
I have not but I’ve heard great things!
@@naillacquertherapy they are awesome
how in the world did you use 3 coats of nail polish and not smug anything up.. plus the base and top coat lol...
Lots of practice lol
Sometimes I paint my nails and they feel pretty dry and hood to go…. Then I end up bumping into something and my nail smudges >:(
Did your nails smudge off camera?😂
Lol no they didn’t. I recommend using Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat. It’s one of my favorites and it dries very fast!
Those plastic cuticle pushers just don't work. I use my own nails when lacking my metal cuticle pusher. Thanks for the shopping trip!
I agree! Horrible
That super dry top coat sucks good you didn’t bought it
Good to know!
I bought one the last time I was at my dollar tree store, it worked very well for me.
