- It’s Justin Diego back with another bingeworthy video and today we have to talk about how it’s finally starting to look like the Real Housewives of Atlanta is gearing up to film season 16 after this random hiatus.
RHOA Reboot Update
If you’ve been a loyal bingewatcher you already know that I’ve been covering the RHOA Reboot rumors since they first started weeks before the season 15 reunion. Since then so much has changed with the blogs claiming all our girls were fired, before saying that everyone was recast except Kandi and Kenya.
Porsha Returning To RHOA
There have literally been too many to keep up with but here’s what we know now. Porsha Williams is definitely returning for RHOA Season 16.

Last season Kandi missed out on RHOA filming and said she had bit off more than she chew. I don’t think one person can make a show. Same people begging for Porsha back will be complaining about her in a season or two.
None of these stans learn anything. Bring Phaedra back, bring Porsha back, whatever...thankfully other things to watch on Sundays other than stale storylines. And whining about having Grand Dragon Kolziak back? You might just get her back if we keep with this old rehash nonsense.

Kandi wasn't feeling coming back when they took so long to start production. She has an extremely busy life.

Let it go!!! Kandi and Andy both said why Kandi decided to leave. Kandi's life has changed and so many more opportunities have opened up for her. Kandi could be the next Tyler Perry if she goes into more successful productions. She could be giving people JOBS!!!

I don’t understand what the hype is behind Porsha honestly. She has always ran away from answering questions and being confronted on her mess by being physical or walking off and the producers having to force her to come back on scene. And in her spin off when she went off like a woman possessed tearing up the whole scene and then telling everyone to keep quiet and dismissing the producers! Oh and not to forget throwing mics and plates and stuff endangering everyone and you bring her back with Superstar ratings. All of that was because of her spoiled brat behavior, entitlement and gaslighting behavior and being pissed because people weren’t going along with her mess! Chile please! She doesn’t deserve it! That’s my opinion. I hope those producers hold her feet to the fire and make her accountable. She’s getting paid to show up entirely.

Kandi didn't say they acted like they didn't know what to do with her, she said they were taking too long trying to figure out what they wanted to do with THE SHOW. The network wanted Kandi to come back so it's safe to say they didn't offer phony a RHOA contract. Kandi completely made the decision. No, it doesn't take long to film HWs but when you have other things going on like tour dates, acting, producing, etc ..trying to fit everything to where it doesn't overlap much can be difficult. If they bring Phony back BEST BELIEVE it was AFTER Kandi said she wasn't coming back.

Honestly, I don’t want them to bring Phaedra back, once they put her on Married to Medicine that was a done deal for me. Bouncing the same person from show to show on the same network is just stupid plus we’re getting nothing from her.

Just look at the timeline. Everything happened a week apart. No one’s answering the phone , Kandi’s announcement , Porsha’s announcement ……. Kandi DID choose not to return, but that’s not the whole story and we’ll never know. I believe it was one or more of the following:
- Contract negotiations (less money)
- Demotion to a “friend of” role
- Bravo wanted Kandi to bow out with an episode arc.
- Phaedra is coming back (although I believe she would like to stay on a show with professional women who have stuff to lose)

The network was dragging its feet offering the ladies their pickup letters causing them to wait and be in limbo. Kandi has other engagements and business ventures and she didn't have time to wait around and miss out on other opportunities.
She wasn't fired and she didn't leave because of Phaedra... at this point it's not even confirmed Phaedra will return to RHOA. If she does, Kandi's decision to leave had already been decided way before that.

Exactly! Nene & Carlos King were integral parts to RHOA success. Sometimes you can’t go back home but if they want even a shot at recapturing some of the magic 🪄 that’s the formula .
The reason you gave for Kandi actually leaving was spot on. I knew she would not agree to being in the room cordially with the likes of Porcha and I don't blame her.
When Kandi announced that she wasn’t returning, it was the writing on the wall. RHOA is dying a death. Phaedra is an absolute disaster on Married to Medicine. She’s showed that she still her shady and messy self manipulating Quad into making a fool of herself. Showing up at Sweet Tea and Greg’s wedding??? Who does that? Phaedra is tainted goods, what she done to Kandi was unforgivable. Phaedra’s return to RHOA will not save the show. I am on the fence about season 16, even with my favourite Porsha returning. I’m still hoping this once great franchise manages to regain its crown. Season 16 is the deal breaker.

Even with Phaedra and Porsha coming back to RHOA, people will STILL have something bad to say about the show chile 🙄 we never support our own shows and it’s so sad to see… and that is our downfall (self not included) and why our programmes are going downhill.
Self-sabotaging a show that Nene and them worked hard to get on tv in the first place, is not it. I understand we want better for our ladies, but there’s a more productive way to go about it.

It’s not the length of filming that was the problem for Kandi it was the scheduling. She would block off the time for Housewives filming on her calendar and then book all her other projects around that. When they kept putting off announcing when or if she’s coming back and when the start date was Kandi decided I can’t keep my life on hold waiting for them to make decisions. Before she quit she publicly said “they’re trippin’’ when asked about production and the status of the possible reboot.
You said yourself in this video that what you find annoying is “just how up in the air everything is with our girls” Kandi agrees with you and that’s why she left.

Kandi left because they didn't offer her a contract. She got to big headed and was the reason for the demise of the show. She uses Bravo to promote all of her platform, adding nothing worth seeing inside the show. Always letting her controlling mother say nasty things about her husband Todd and being mean towards Todd,s daughter ! Never liked a mean spirit woman like that. I had a mean and hurtful stepmother that abuse me as a child when I was just 7 years old and she hurt me so bad, I was a innocent child and she abuse me behind my dad's back and she said that if I ever told him that she would put us both out in the streets, so I scared and kept my mouth shut
Until My Heavenly Father God came and rescue me from her evil hands.😢 So I recognize the meaniness of Kandi' s Mom evil!!!

Kenya Moore is the main character in RHOA and unfortunately Bravo cannot deny that. The problem is also production. If it’s also coming back then I’m good😂

I never thought a full reboot would work with RHOA. Unfortunately most fans are too picky. We want something familiar. Bringing Porsha and Kenya is good. If Phaedra returns I’m sure maybe Kenya and Porsha both will have to weigh in on what happened, if they even go there. I think it would be a pretty sensitive situation because both Kenya and Porsha are friends with Kandi and out of respect wouldn’t want to go there too tough. Apollo and his new wife would be cool. I also think something different would be is to bring like a Claudia Jordan and TS Madison. I think there is gonna be a twist with this cast

I am open to half the cast being new and see women shining in their businesses and sharing in sisterhood. I really liked Shamari and would like to see her back.. Unfortunately toxicity sells but let's hope for better😊

You noticed how Phaedra started appearing on different BRAVO shows over the past year or so. They think her appearances have improved the ratings of those shows. Plus certain people get the support from the Co Host and Influencers and some people are purposely frowned upon. I'm really not interested. RHOA is not portraying positivity on any level.
