ooh good question... I'd imagine a NAS would use something simple like SMB and a basic auth protocol like EAP ... I'd have to dig deeper into specific NAS drives though~!

Lol rebooting a router when the cable is ripped out😂... At my job i have users trying to login to domain without having any network connection - i sit there & it drives me nuts like broo
