Thanks for nice video, could I ask you how much minutes for the basic pressure boiled potatoes? 10-12 minutes LOW or HIGH please?
For cubed potatoes you'll use a 4 minute cook time. www.pressurecookingtoday.com/pressure-cooker-instant-pot-garlic-roasted-red-potatoes/#recipe
I like the Cosoru,as we originally had a 6 quaet instant pot.
I really like the dot on the lid which makes it easy when getting ready to cook
Thanks for sharing!
Me encantó tu video Gracias por todo lo que nos enseñas
I had an instant pot die and the company was absolutely no help at all, they told me to throw it away. So I'm looking for another brand. I've loved the Cosori air fryer and loved it, and hoping this will take its place. Is it still holding up well?
Oh no! It's frustrating that you didn't get good customer service from the Instant Pot people!
If you have the Cosori air fryer and love it, I think the Cosori pressure cooker will be a good fit for you. The controls feel pretty similar.
We haven't had the Cosori pressure cooker for even a full year yet, but so far it is holding up well. I have no hesitation in recommending it based on our use over the last 9ish months.
After months of use , what would you say about the pot container ? Has it been scratched ?
We don't use the Cosori on a daily basis. We prefer a stainless pot.
@PressureCookingToday Why is that? Is it worse than a stainless pot?
@@geornirv with stainless you don't have to worry about scratching it and you can scrub it clean. I also think you get a better sear on meat with a stainless pot. But my first pressure cooker had a non stick pot and it worked great too.
@@PressureCookingToday So is it enough good to buy or to prefer sth else? Or stick with a classic pressure cooker or simple pot?
@@geornirv It's good enough to buy, but I prefer the Instant Pot Pro which is on sale now for Black Friday amzn.to/3AUV6Qk (affiliate link)
This or the instant pot? I need to cook lamb curries using the pressure cooker. Also, how easy is it to cook rice in the Cosori? As easy as cooking rice in a normal rice cooker? Thank you and you are a wonderful presenter 👏🏼
Thanks! If price isn't an issue, I'd pick the Instant Pot because their customer service is responsive, if necessary and parts can be harder to find on other brands. Rice is very easy to cook in any brand of pressure cooker. www.pressurecookingtoday.com/pressure-cooker-white-rice/
@@PressureCookingToday Thanks I appreciate it your quick response. Subscribed 👍🏼
@@PressureCookingToday Which Instapot do you like best? The Duo Evo was highly revered, but they have discontinued it.
@@bradh6185 the Pro is very similar to the Evo and the Pro is my favorite. ua-cam.com/video/HA-bwJD74yI/v-deo.html
When not in a pressure mode. Does your lid not seal fully tight. You are able to move the lid easily?
You can turn the lid open and closed until it comes to pressure.
@PressureCookingToday even on slow cook?
@@stuartsneddon8919 when you're slow cooking you should have the steam release valve in the venting position so that the lid doesn't build up pressure and lock. If you have a glass lid from a pots and pans set that fits your pressure cooker, you can use that instead of the lid if you prefer.
Does the sauté function get real hot quickly?
Thanks.
It gradually heats up. The high heat will take longer to get hot - it isn't really quickly
Is it possible to buy a stainless steel inner pot for this machine?
Cosori doesn't sell one, but they do list the dimensions if you want to try one not specifically made for the Cosori and see if it works www.amazon.com/COSORI-Compatible-CMC-CO601-SUS-Non-Stick-CRP-CO601IP-SUS/dp/B0C6TB4VWW?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1
I tried to use my allow cook setting, but it stayed on pre heat for an hour. What am i doing wrong?
You're probably not doing anything wrong. Slow cook gradually heats up at a low temperature, which takes a long time to reach the desired temperature. If you want it to heat up faster, you can use the saute function to heat it up and then switch it to slow cook.
How can I get it. Am in Nigeria
You could reach out to Instant Pot support@instantbrands.com and see if it's available near you.
How do you turn it on and off? 😀😀😀😀Or is it a matter of plug in and unplug?
Correct there are no on-off buttons, you just plug it in and unplug when finished.
Can I cook leg of lamb as a whole ?
If it is small enough to fit. Typically, you'll want to use a boneless leg of lamb. Here's a recipe you can try alldayidreamaboutfood.com/instant-pot-leg-of-lamb/
Still listening, did you cover its cost and compared it to the IP?
We didn't compare it to the IP in the video. We paid about $90 for it, so it's a good value. We prefer a stainless steel inner pot, the ceramic-coated pot is a nice inner pot, you just have to be careful not to scratch it. It has some of the more advanced features, like sous vide and fermet (yogurt) that you only get on higher-priced Instant Pot models.
@@PressureCookingToday Thanks. We looking to move and, in the process, we are thinking to get a newer PC. Wondering if the models with the browning cover are worth the extra $. Thanks
@@NomadDavid62 we prefer a separate basket style air fryer, unless you don't have room for two appliances in your kitchen. But the combo units work great.
@@PressureCookingToday It's just seems that many of the recipes have us finishing off with that lid or putting in oven.
@@NomadDavid62 it is convenient if you're doing a cheesy top on a pasta dish or something like that.
Mine doesn't go to 10min it only go as far as 4 min ...it reaches 4min then it goes back to zero. Anyone knows why. Or what im doing wrong
I think you must be looking at “hours” and not “minutes” maybe 🤔 the clock would have to show 00:05 for five minutes for example or 00:10 for ten minutes
@cazzajee2593 oh ok . I thought so. Thanks for explaining
@@patriciagutierrez4779 I noticed your post was 3 weeks ago and guessed you’d probably sussed it out by now. The clock timer confused me a bit at first (I got mine about three weeks ago as well) and I’m still getting to grips using it.
@@cazzajee2593 thanks I just bought one and was so confused
The cleaning looks troublesome with all those small pieces to handle.
Not really a bother and you can skip taking the float valve apart if you haven't cooked a food that foams.
sorry i forgot about the pressure cooker i am watching your beautiful face
The honest review is good but it looks staged in the background are three pressure cookers displayed like a commercial, if she had so many pressure cooker’s why order a forth one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We've been reviewing pressure cookers and developing recipes for the pressure cooker for 12 years, so we have lots and lots of pressure cookers.
You look staged, buddy
