Hey yall, thanks for watching my newest "What's For Dinner?" video. Let me know in the comments if there are any recipes you'd like to see make in the future 😊
I’m in Arkansas and that’s how we made our sweet tea until I became an adult. Now if I make sweet tea I use an additional small saucepan and add the sugar with enough water to coat on the stove and dissolve the sugar over a low heat. Then add that simple syrup to the tea and enough water to finish your pitcher. No need to worry about the sugar not dissolving.
Aw, thanks for the shout out! 😊 I started watching this morning, had to pause and just finished lol. Busy day! Everything looked yummy! We make tea the same way! It's been a while since I've made it though. I think I'm going to start sharing what's for dinner videos! I love watching these! 💕
Now, we in Texas know that enchiladas are made with corn tortillas and not flour lol. Flour is for burritos, fajita's, soft taco's 😄. I don't blame you for not liking the doughy-ness. Some good recipes on this one though! Thank you, Kim!
Funny to see Courtney dancing around while she's eating. My 11 year old daughter is constantly doing that no matter what she's doing. I say she's always in Tik Tok mode 💃🎶😂
love ur channel and ur recipes , i do almost the same with the white chili , except instead of sour cream , ive always used heavy cream , and i too add a corn starch slurry as i prefer a thicker based soup... but keep those recipes coming !!!
I’m watching from Australia! Love your ideas. I don’t have access to some of your ingredients but can definitely adapt it to what we do have. Love your accent 🌈
OMG Kim l cook everything in the crockpot on high! It always turns out better lol l just love you and your family is beautiful! Great recipes thank you! Have a great weekend. From Lori in Tucson, Arizona ❤️🌵❤️🌵
I only make homemade sloppy joes. Ketchup mustard BBQ sauce brown sugar and spices. I always just eye everything. It's the best sloppy joes. Thanks for the video!
I have heard of those sloppy Joe's recipe. I have to try it but only me because no one likes sloppy Joe's in my family lol. I haven't tried Riceroni, but have seen it in the store and I didn't know it had pasta in it. Your son recording you. I use to make sweet tea just like that before. I been thinking of making chicken chili yours looks delicious with the biscuits
Everything looks really good I like to make the beef Rice-A-Roni and add ground beef in it and those dehydrated onions while its cooking with the water in it and a chicken bouillon and let it simmer it is so good i like to add chicken tenders to the chicken one i cook the chicken in butter and add the seaoning i like i only cook it long enough just to get color on it and then when I add to water to the Rice-A-Roni I add the chicken tenders to it and put the lid on it and let it cook and then it'll cook the chicken all the way through that's really good
@@KimsFarmhouseLife Cook them in a pan for about 30 seconds on each side that will help or use corn tortillas and fry them in a little bit of oil that's what I use I like the corn tortillas better than flour ones they taste better to me
I made this the other night but in a skillet. Put it together like you did and then finished it in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes. I also liked it but not how gummy the flour tortilla was especially on the very bottom. I’ve tried this type of dish using corn tortillas and that is the same. I think I’ll leave Mexican dishes to the professionals except for tacoa😂😂.
Yea girl I dont know why the flour tortillas turned so gummy. I make regular enchiladas with corn and fry then slightly before putting the meat in them and they dont turn out gummy. Thank you for watching.
Liked your recipes, however, I need to see the end result in how you threw it together and family opinion. I only saw one link to the sloppy joe recipe and no others (I could be blind...lol). Can you include all of them? Thanks for sharing! 🌺
I've never understood all of these recipes for enchiladas using flour tortillas 😂 I've always assumed it would get gummy. I live in San Antonio TX and we use corn tortillas 😁 for our enchiladas... Now I'm craving Mexican food 😋 Gonna have to get me some tonight.
Yea girl I agree. I should've known better than to use flour. I always use corn too. I bet down in San Antonio yall got some good food. I live it north Texas and there's lots of good Mexican food here too. 😊😊😊
@@KimsFarmhouseLife yes..I think we have some of the best Mexican food.. if you ever come down to this area you need to try one of Los Barrio's families restaurants...
@@joielynette we came a few years ago and took the kids to Sea World ...maybe we will make another trip up this summer. Thanks for that restaurant recommendation 😊
Make it again using corn tortillas i make it it the Crock-Pot with them its way better. i also do chicken sometimes and i do it the same except i add a block of cream cheese to the meat mix and i use green enchilada sauce on top
Hi Jasmine. The bracelets were a gift from my cousin and they each have my kids names on them. I finally stopped wearing them because I kept scratching my husband with them lol but I did love them. I’m not sure where she bought them from...
A super easy dinner idea: Marinate chicken breasts/tenders in italian dressing (at least 3 hours) Crush up a bag of garlic cheese croutons with parmesan cheese in a large Ziploc bag (I use real parmesan cheese but shaky cheese is fine too) Throw your chicken in the bag to coat Bake at 375° for 20-30 mins So simple but so good!!
Hey, I didnt know that either till you said it about Rice a roni. Lol but you never said what beans you put in before the chicken in the crockpot. Also if you use cream cheese instead of sour cream it wont be runny and it will taste so much better. I'd like to see you make tuna casserole, I cant find one online that I like.
Hey Sandra 😊 I'm glad to hear I'm not only one who didnt realise that either. Oh the beans were great northern beans and I think will try it with cream cheese next time. It was really good. How much would you put? One block? And I will put that down. I haven't had tuna casserole in forever. My parents used to make it. I wish I could remember what they put in it...they're now in heaven so I cant ask 😢 But thank you so much for watching 😊❤😊
Yes just 1 8 oz block of cream cheese cut it into cubes to add at the end and stir in real good to dissolve. I realize that your crockpot needs to be on high to get it to dissolve faster. I used those beans, also made with garbonzo beans.
