@ I think you underestimate just how many dinosaur fans care more about the scientifically accurate models and designing their own parks as opposed to a Jurassic World franchise park. Plus Frontier is going to be busy fixing Planet Coaster 2 for a good while before they even start on JWE3 and let’s face it. With Frontier being Frontier JWE3 will come out very bare bones with far less content than either JWE2 or PK with DLC

Both have great animations but Prehistoric Kingdom is definitely better by design. However gotta love some of the classic designs like the rex, spino and the brach from Jurassic Park.

I really like the designs in both games(except for the Carcharodontosaurus in JWE2 but the vocalizations are amazing) but overall I think I slightly prefer PK's designs.
A cool comparison video but I feel like you ran JWE2 at a lower graphic setting? I could be wrong but the Camarasarurus doesn't even have a shadow at 2:41 unless that's just JWE2 and I've never noticed it? edit: The Dilophosaurus has a shadow at 7:50 so that's odd
overall prehistoric kiddom has 10x better models but some of the animation is a little choppy but still looks way better the jwe2 this coming form someone who has over 100 hours

Oh please don't JWE breaks their dinosaur's bones all the time in the most impossible ways, they basically put mammals rigs on large reptilian theme park monsters.
In fact, if the models of Pk were extracted, I suppose that the JWE2 models could be replaced by these, after all modifying a game it's not something new.

Well that has an explanation (I don’t really like them either). They wanted to make a reference to how iguanodon used to be depicted at first. It was literally a gigantic iguana with spikes.

The bulk of the PK Tyrannosaur is absolutely perfect. If it had fully covered teeth like the Carchara, it would be the quintessential rex model imo.

good catch. recorded these videos on different days. Might have changed the setting at one point.

I never noticed that Ouranosaurus and Muttaburrasaurus were mainly bipedal in contrast to later hadrosaurs

Honestly, I still prefer the JWE2, I like the unique models of the JWE2 and the variety and animations more
I have 12 games on my wishlist and both games are in it and my wallet is gonna need to go to the ICU when i buy these
