HKS just wanted the outright tin top record (which they got) and beat outright racecars from gt300 class. Their car was on slicks and built outside the rules permitted for tuning cars hence why their lap doesn't count on the tubing car records. There's open wheelers with faster laps than hks still. They're not the only car to go under 50.0
best tsukuba coverage on the internet

The second camera angle was amazing, doubly with the sound! All the different angles were great. Thanks for always covering these events!

great video as always!
Just an info, how much does it cost to run in an event like this or Attack?
The Attack events are usually somewhere between 25,000 - 45,000 yen.
It depends on the number of total cars running.
Thanks for watching!
@@ShuBoxInc thank you very much for your answer, that's more or less what we spend here in Italy too!
LOL- really had me thinking it was YOUR mom (Errand-Runner) in the GTR!

Thanks for watching!
Wassnt the hks gt86 the first car in the 49s?
On slick tires... so many, including myself, don't really think it fully counts. Tuning cars imo have to stick to semi slicks.
