Is this even called a review? what about the cons about the bike? how is it compared to competition? it is not a review it is just praising the bike. The title of the video should be Hornet 2.0 praise. Expecting a nice and critical video from Dyno is like searching for a needle in haystack. The other biker I found to be the exact replica of Dyno is Big Bang Biker
This is why I love Dino's vault, he shows everything in just 1 video and most of the youtubers are just mad. Just for some views they make 5 videos on only 1 bike😐. 1 was the first look, 2nd video about the power, 3rd about the road test, 4th about maintenance, 5th about opponents and many points 😂. Dino bruh is the perfect youtuber 👍
Why most of you are concerned about topspeed? What is in the topspeed? Are you guys going to drive in recetrack or in a public road? Is it practically possible to cruise at the top speed in city roads and high ways? Is it advisable? Doesn't it mean a rash driving? Is that a good driving sense? Are you guys not responsible of your life and life of other people in the road? Are you guys that much selfish? What will you do if a 1000cc car cruised at a topspeed in a public road? Brothers, allday is not a jollyday. Speed thrills but kills. Be responsible when you are in a road.... always don't dream about cruising at topspeed....
Top speed does not mean you go to the fullest. it is the feel of the machine that it has still something more to give at whatever speed you are and you are confident.
In my opinion, Cruising speed is more important than the top speed of any motorcycle, and 80-90Kmph is enough cruising speed in our country where the speed limit is 80-100kmph for highways.
The bike looks absolutely freaking phenomenal... Such a great bike... Reliability is the word here.. Such a reliable and efficient engine that honda has been offer.. 👏
It's not underpowered for the 180cc class but for the price it is a raw deal. You could get an ns 200 for this price with better acceleration and top speed. Honda always messes up the pricing.
@@akshityadav1235 can't argue about that. My experience with Bajaj has been good. Had a discover 125 that did 1 lakh kms without problem. Currently have a duke 200 which has crossed 50k kms no problems. Just regular maintenance is all it needs.

One suggestion to Dino, Can you please cover the performance of headlights in every bike. IF video is not possible, atleast a couple of photos should give a good idea.

Reliability of engine i would say. Owner of 2013 bs3 NS and sold it already. Best power machine ever had but reliability,refinemant and quality of material are far low what Honda and Suzuki offers.
Only a person with absolutely no knowledge will be confused among these 3. 200s are miles ahead of hornet 180. The NS200 specially in performance. The legit person who should be confused should be the one trying to pick up MT15 or this. I don't understand why are they even comparing this with 200s
@@MultiAbinash yamaha lately has been ignoring their FZ series. R15 and mt still has top notch hardware. I haven't owned one but from what I could gather from my ride experiences they are ignoring both fz15 and 25. From build to refinement. Older FZ was more refined imo.

OMG, was just waiting for this review. To buy or not this for my golden quadrilateral trip in 2021. Confused between this and Xpulse.. Am honda Fanboy, having riden unicorn for 16 years, don't want to go away from Honda.. Now, I feel pretty confident to buy this, test drive tomorrow for sure.. 👍👍🎉🎉
@@vaibhavrathi8624 yea, they always keep those ugly saree guards. Those should come as optional. I don't even use my bikes mudguard because it has that saree guard. Just makes the bike look uglier.

With 125kmph top speed your cruise speed will be somewhere between 80 to 85 kmph. You'll be bored af. Air cooling and box section swing arm. Nah. Only USD doesn't do the trick for me.

bhai dino achieved 132 on v3 bs6, it depends on weight + new engine , he never stresses the engines, we all know v3 sill hits 150+ so that's incorrect to jugde it on top speed

No where Honda is claiming this as 200 cc segment. This engine falls very close to 180 cc segment can be compared with Pulsar 180 and RtR 180. This has best in class power figure, even rtr 200 cant match it's performance from 0 to 60 and 0 to 100. After 100 kmph it's slightly looses it's steam. Honda has given perfect blend of performance and commuting machine to Indian customer. Cons is it's pricing as it is priced slightly more than rtr 200 which gives more features . Honda is slightly expensive when compared to Bajaj and TVS , but you will never regret of putting some extra cash on Honda. Many of them complaining it doesn't have oil or liquid cooling , it's engine compression ratio is 9.5: 1 so air cooling is fine. It's mileage is 45 kmpl , after first service there Will be slight improvement . You will be happy with both it's performance and efficiency.
Bro comparing this to pulsar 180 is like comparing fz150 to r15v3. Similar in cc but price is drastically different. At the end of the day cc doesn't matter. It's your budget that matters. Pulsar 180f will give similar(better) top end performance to this, costing just 1.2 lakh on road. This will cost close to 1.5lakh. at that price (significantly lesser) one will buy either 220, which will easily defeat this, or Apache with similar build quality and features and slightly better performance.

@@sumitchelluru No its not a good tourer. I have 2018 hornet. It's pathetic on the highway. The engine redlines to quickly. For a comfortable ride, the best speed on that bike is 80 to 85 anything more than that it turns into a gas guzzler + you can feel the bike taking a beating. I expect the same with this version also despite it having 20 odd extra hp. The old version also does 120 kmph on a flat plane if u push it all the way just like this bike. Please do not get this if u plan on cruising at 100.
@@mos4996 did you ride a 185 hornet. Hornet is a very good tourer comfort...reliability.. mileage.. cruise speed of 90. It's 160 CC. At the same time CBR 250R was also available that's honda tourer. Hornet is a commuter that can be used as a tourer not a dedicated tourer

@@arvindfluidic honestly I don't think it's that bad I mean after all it's honda..u get fuel efficiency, services are not that costly and in general build quality is better compare to hero and bajaj.I am just not satisfied with the graphics and little bit on performance side apart from that honda has made a smart move by making it a 180 cc bike which can compete with 200cc.If you are looking to buy a naked street bike in 160-200cc range you should definitely take test ride and dicide it by yourself and don't take this reviews seriously 😀
Totally agree man. I own 1st gen Hornet and I don't see the value in upgrading to 2nd gen. As u said the graphics are too much and for that price the horse power could have been better with dual channel ABS.

Four Things which are missing in this bike according to me. They are as follows. 1. Oil cooling system 2. 6th gear 3. Dual channel abs and 4. Kick starter as bs4 model use to get
No Oil cooler, No dual channel ABS, No slipper clutch.. Paper type engine oil filter is the minimum requirement and even that paper type filter has not been given .. But ridiculously over priced @ 1.28 lakhs ex-showroom .. Is Honda treating Indian riders as jokers ??
@@URhistory23 True bro, Kick starter is not required.. But this Hornet 2.O is lacking the most important OIL COOLER to protect it's 184 Cc engine .. A Centrifugal engine oil filter has been given inside the clutch cover (Right Hand Side) of the engine. NO Paper type engine oil filter has been given in this 184 Cc bike.. PAPER TYPE ENGINE OIL FILTERS not only improve the engine oil's life with better filteration, they also avoid engine oil condensation.. If the ex-showroom price is 1.28 lakhs , How much this costs On road ??
@@nishanthsundhar9697 Literally there is no relation between a 5 speed gear box and an Oil cooling system.. Yamaha FZ25, TVS Apache RTR 200, Bajaj Pulsar 220 F and 180 F. All the above mentioned bikes are equipped with 5 speed gear boxes and Oil coolers..Even the Pulsar 160 NS and Apache RTR 160 4v are equipped with 5 speed gear boxes and oil coolers.. An oil cooler has great importance in the engine structure of higher Cc motorcycles to protect the engine from excessive heat ..

One small suggestion - please don't focus only the positives, also speak up about the negative point of each bike in these 1st ride video. Otherwise your followers may get misleaded.
It looks beautiful no doubt. But as a Hornet 160R owner, at this price, it is definitely not worth the upgrade. Rather go for Pulsar NS/RS 200 at this price.

Iam using a first gen hornet which gives 42kmpl and a top speed of 124kmph. its almost 35k more than the previous version. I think the cost goes to the graphics as well as USD forks. Rest all remains the same. Not worth upgrade but first time bike buyers can think about it.

And they say it underpowered.
Its only 13.6ps but goes 127kmph.

No where Honda is claiming this as 200 cc segment. This engine falls very close to 180 cc segment can be compared with Pulsar 180 and RtR 180. This has best in class power figure, even rtr 200 cant match it's performance from 0 to 60 and 0 to 100. After 100 kmph it's slightly looses it's steam. Honda has given perfect blend of performance and commuting machine to Indian customer. Cons is it's pricing as it is priced slightly more than rtr 200 which gives more features . Honda is slightly expensive when compared to Bajaj and TVS , but you will never regret of putting some extra cash on Honda. Many of them complaining it doesn't have oil or liquid cooling , it's engine compression ratio is 9.5: 1 so air cooling is fine. It's mileage is 45 kmpl , after first service there Will be slight improvement . You will be happy with both it's performance and efficiency.
Bro comparing this to pulsar 180 is like comparing fz150 to r15v3. Similar in cc but price is drastically different. At the end of the day cc doesn't matter. It's your budget that matters. Pulsar 180f will give similar(better) top end performance to this, costing just 1.2 lakh on road. This will cost close to 1.5lakh. at that price (significantly lesser) one will buy either 220, which will easily defeat this, or Apache with similar build quality and features and slightly better performance.

@@sumitchelluru No its not a good tourer. I have 2018 hornet. It's pathetic on the highway. The engine redlines to quickly. For a comfortable ride, the best speed on that bike is 80 to 85 anything more than that it turns into a gas guzzler + you can feel the bike taking a beating. I expect the same with this version also despite it having 20 odd extra hp. The old version also does 120 kmph on a flat plane if u push it all the way just like this bike. Please do not get this if u plan on cruising at 100.
@@mos4996 did you ride a 185 hornet. Hornet is a very good tourer comfort...reliability.. mileage.. cruise speed of 90. It's 160 CC. At the same time CBR 250R was also available that's honda tourer. Hornet is a commuter that can be used as a tourer not a dedicated tourer

@@arvindfluidic honestly I don't think it's that bad I mean after all it's honda..u get fuel efficiency, services are not that costly and in general build quality is better compare to hero and bajaj.I am just not satisfied with the graphics and little bit on performance side apart from that honda has made a smart move by making it a 180 cc bike which can compete with 200cc.If you are looking to buy a naked street bike in 160-200cc range you should definitely take test ride and dicide it by yourself and don't take this reviews seriously 😀
Totally agree man. I own 1st gen Hornet and I don't see the value in upgrading to 2nd gen. As u said the graphics are too much and for that price the horse power could have been better with dual channel ABS.
Finally a good package from Honda. I thought of buying it back in 2018. But didn't bcoz of no engine kill switch. Now it offers more than that.

Four Things which are missing in this bike according to me. They are as follows.
1. Oil cooling system
2. 6th gear
3. Dual channel abs and
4. Kick starter as bs4 model use to get

True bro, Kick starter is not required.. But this Hornet 2.O is lacking the most important OIL COOLER to protect it's 184 Cc engine .. A Centrifugal engine oil filter has been given inside the clutch cover (Right Hand Side) of the engine. NO Paper type engine oil filter has been given in this 184 Cc bike..
PAPER TYPE ENGINE OIL FILTERS not only improve the engine oil's life with better filteration, they also avoid engine oil condensation..

Literally there is no relation between a 5 speed gear box and an Oil cooling system..
Yamaha FZ25, TVS Apache RTR 200, Bajaj Pulsar 220 F and 180 F. All the above mentioned bikes are equipped with 5 speed gear boxes and Oil coolers..Even the Pulsar 160 NS and Apache RTR 160 4v are equipped with 5 speed gear boxes and oil coolers..
An oil cooler has great importance in the engine structure of higher Cc motorcycles to protect the engine from excessive heat ..

It looks beautiful no doubt. But as a Hornet 160R owner, at this price, it is definitely not worth the upgrade. Rather go for Pulsar NS/RS 200 at this price.

Iam using a first gen hornet which gives 42kmpl and a top speed of 124kmph. its almost 35k more than the previous version. I think the cost goes to the graphics as well as USD forks. Rest all remains the same. Not worth upgrade but first time bike buyers can think about it.
