I’ve visited a number of barbers in my area and all were clueless beyond the basics of beard trimming. I wished there was somebody with Mahesh’s expertise close by. I’m consistently amazed with his work.
I love how he talks about WHY he's cutting instead of just one size fits all. Every beard grows differently and you want to cut your beard according to how your beard grows. Very well made.
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
Thanks for making a video that actually informs, and isn’t just wankers talking. Good info on the blending, and the why’s of it. I’m looking to fully trim mine myself for the first time (normally my stylist does it). I need more info for the bulk shaping, so I’ll check you channel for that, but just wanted to say this one was solid.
I have almost exactly the same beard as Michael (color and growth pattern) so this was super-helpful. There's not a barber anywhere near me that will trim beards so I have to do it myself and it helps to understand the way my beard grows. Cheers.
There are no decent barbers where I live and I needed a shapeup like this. Watched the video and just did the same exact thing to my beard. Just wanted to say thank you for the video.
Michael seems like an interesting guy. I like his vibe. Hope to see more of him on this channel. As always, a great job by Mahesh. Really enjoyed this one. Cheers guys 🤙🏼
Extremely Informative, and helpful. Been looking to clean up the look but because I keep it shorter like him it has presented as a difficult task for me to get right
I prefer using an exposed razor holder because it makes it much easier to see exactly where the edge of the razor blade is. its especially helpful for hard parts and designs. Full shaves, however, are different; definitely using my Feather with the blade all the way tucked in. Try out an exposed razor!! I think you might like it!!
I love how the before and after shots don't show a huge difference. That's what a trim should do, to make it clean but not lose too much length. Every single time in my life visiting a barber has left me sad and disenchanted because they always take way too much off. So I'm trying to do it myself now.
As a guy with locs for over 15 years (and a beard that needs a trim, but whatever) this guys locs look like someone who's had locs for years. They look pretty damn good. Shit i may show this to my barber for the beard trim. Love how it came out,
I worked in Surrey as men’s barber back in 2004, beards weren’t trendy then like they are now it was a kinda “one size fits all” 1.5 all over. This guy is performing sheer art work. My partner now has a beard so I’m gonna try this technique on him, it’s been 10 years since I had a cut throat razor in my hand god help me. Where does this guy work, he’s very talented and I bet expensive, who doesn’t mind paying for experience.
Late comment, but for one thing, the guy reminds me of Kristofer Hivju, secondly, I appreciate so much how Mahesh doesn't just look at the beard and dig in for how it looks best, he actually studies the beard shape, contour, and awkward growth patterns.
Long waited for Mahesh. This client's beard pattern is pretty much like mine. Thank you. Carlos and Mahesh are a great team. I'm wondering if we are still going to see more of Mahesh after Carlos have moved to Texas (or so I thought).
First time I've seen a barber really talk about the directions of hair growth and kinks. My beard has some crazy ones underneath that make it hard to get a symmetrical beard
Theres a lot of barbers springing up. Many of them Turkish style. But in not convinced any of them can trim beards like this. So i try myself. Takes a long time.
This is so cool. If a customer wants oil/ or any beardbrand products used on their beard during the cut, will the barber typically just use a 1oz? Or do they have their own larger product they use all day on their desk?
Mahesh! I totally want my beard to look like yours! The handlebar moustache blend into your beard is exactly what I'm trying to do -- it's difficult to get my stache to "behave" properly...
I've been trimming and shaping my beard myself for a while now but I've always had a problem with how the hair underneath my chin/jawline creates a wave. The hair in that area goes back while everything else goes forward if that makes sense. I want to keep the length but I some advice in how I should trim it.
One side of my neck beard grows up, and the otherwise goes kind down and across. Its all like 3 inches so the growth pattern isn't as much in affect and can style to match.
My right side of my beard is like Michael's, it grows going under my ear a bit. Still bothers me cause I wanna do a straight line down but watching this made me feel better about the naturality of the growth pattern
Hair also grows on the back and side of your neck but you don't keep it simply because it grows there. Shape your beard the way you feel it looks the best.
Oh man I would like to have my newish 6 month old beard shaped by Mahesh. Mine is to a point that I really dont know what to do with it and sometimes think about shaving it off, but I am NOT shaving it off and going to stick to it. Maybe time to go see a barber locally /scared
I'm curious about something in the background. There's a segmented wooden torus on a low shelf. Where did it come from? Looks incredibly similar to the work Kyle Toth does.
Hello Beardbrand , What is you opinion on these Heated Beard brushes , there are basically like flat irons the women use but with brush that are now popping up on social media , (I.G), do you think it causes any damage to the hair ???
Great beard trim! Really digging these short/medium styles and trims. What did Mahesh rub in the beard prior to blow drying it during the trim, Styling Balm?
@@garyjaramillo3196 Mee too lmao it's almost the mirror opposite of this guy's beard wave. Unfortunately is the reason why I end up cutting it back after the 3 month mark
What are your thoughts on a beard pattern with a gap or soul patch area? Let it grow out? I’d never wear the soul patch by itself by the way. Not for everyone. 🤣
What brand is that blow dryer? I have tons of hair and I think I would benefit from it, Mahesh how do you keep your beard from turning yellow? I have silver, gray, platinum hair and I do my best to keep it as natural and white as possible.
As an American, I've always set my "Shavettes" to 1.5mm-2mm, but I also collect and use real straight razors, so having a bunch of blade doesn't really phase me.
The best part about this barber is his manner of talk. “All im doing is giving him a job to do in 2 days.” Priceless.
Love how this guy can trim a beard in a mindful way and without butchering it. Never found anyone capable of doing so in my country.
I’ve visited a number of barbers in my area and all were clueless beyond the basics of beard trimming. I wished there was somebody with Mahesh’s expertise close by. I’m consistently amazed with his work.
Facts a lot of barbers simply don’t know how to deal with beards.
just realised this is super close to me but he doesnt seem to be available for booking in the shop :(
Just don't go to barbers. They never know what they're doing. Beards are litteraly the easiest thing in the world to learn how to manage on your own.
@@henchnerd9404is he now available in the shop??

Mahesh is so good at teaching and explaining as he cuts and trims. I really enjoy watching him at his craft.
I was doing really well following instructions in this video to trim my beard until I put on the eye mask.

His locks are complimentary to his beard. Love his entire look.

I fully expect that barbershop has a league of extraordinary gentleman in the back ready to solve all the worlds problems.
Master tip from master barber. Grow the sides so you dont have to shave the stubble every two days. Making it part of your beard. Thanks Mahesh!
NGL, definitely made it look like art. The focus and explanation of his methodologies, very excellent.

How do I find a master barber that puts this kind of attention into my beard trim???
They are hard to find bro.
Trim about three hairs and then call it done, lol. It seems to be all about his "bedside manner".
Great outcome. Really takes time and care at his work.
Michael is now ready for his bongo solo in the Lilith Fair drum circle
Mahesh's beard is now the exact shape and form that i'm going for. Hope he does more vids. Best beard guy on YT by far.
how do you go for it? cut it yourself? show it to the barber?
First time I've seen a barber really talk about the directions of hair growth and kinks. My beard has some crazy ones underneath that make it hard to get a symmetrical beard
im an American barber and i personally do not like my razor blade far out of the handle, I like to have it fairly close just as you do
This barber is just down the road from me so will deffo be going in there for my next Megabeard trim!
Mahesh had a trim. I like it. Grandfather Time wasn’t a look I enjoy.

I had actually never thought of running the clippers top to bottom and that was a great trick to help clean up my beard!
Barbering 101....it simply cuts less down than up and against the grain. An easy way to blend the hair.
You have the loudest clippers ever. Love your technique
I don't know why but I didn't expect that voice out of that man
Super helpful video btw guys, thanks a lot
Superb trim, and customer seems genuinely pleased. Mahesh's beard looks really cool!
Does anyone know what cream/ balm he applied to his beard before he blow dried it? Why aren’t I using a blow dryer on mine?? 🤔
i want my beard to be cut like mahesch´s. sort of. it looks so good
Can anyone tell me what type of hair the guy has and what cutting technique the barber used pls? Thanks
I want this master barber 💈 for my first beard growth journey trim! Can’t find a designated one in town 😢

How much it cost? Sorry to ask.

Was upset to find out the products are in the states its a shame i will be visiting this barbers soon but i cant get the oils and washes 😕

Where can I buy a cape like this??
Anyone know of a good barbers like this one in Manchester, Preston or Blackpool please? The various I've tried are never up to scratch!
whats the white thing he put in the beard before airblow it?
So what would you do if hair does not grow on the sides and only in the bottom and front?
Whats the eye cover you are using?
Please do a video on how to cut your beard so it looks exactly like the barbers here! I've been trying to figure out how to get that look for ages.
Any tips on how to stop the bottom part of the beard the chin where the V happens how to stop it from curling to one side?

How much does something like this cost at a barber? First time growing a beard and I should probably see a barber soon.
True master of his craft.
Learned some good tips for home maintenance, cheers!
Great. For straggler hair, instead of the clipper without the guard, an old scissor can work too.
I have the same kink, but mine is underneath on the right side. I hate how the underside grows sideways.
Like always superb job by Mahesh!
