Most people forget about the part where the man is also the priest of the household. God could care less about how much you’re financially providing if your family is spiritually dead.
Also financial is not the only provision that exists. men can alternatively provide wisdom guidance, emotional support, physical support, a plethora of areas. It’s not about who makes more money in the marriage. It’s about how it’s distributed.
Seantana hit the nail right on the head when he said, “holding her hand while God does the cultivating through you.” And again you were right Sean when you said you cannot expect anyone to submit to you without First being completely submitted to God.
I also think the point Dr. Myles is trying to make is simply finding a woman who is willing to be cultivated spiritually, and that’s where the natural submission comes in, although this is stepping on toes, there are many women who tell their men if you marry me, I refuse to change and vice versa.
Again, a lot of these questions would be easily answered if people read Proverbs chapter 31 in context in totality properly because it’s still one of the most misunderstood chapters of all time
In another sermon, Dr Myles tells women when they’re dating a man they’re considering to marry, their question for him should not be how much do you love me, but where are you taking me?
So what attributes do you think a man is supposed to cultivate in a woman? It seems that we're saying that it's not supposed to be about things like body or style, but I also feel that it's not recommended to marry a quarrelsome woman and try to cultivate her out of that or an unforgiving woman and try to cultivate her out of that. I might be wrong as I'm fairly young and single, but I'm curious how do we determine which attributes to stay away from vs. which ones we should identify as something we just need to cultivate?

He always gives balanced, biblical proof to both genders

To balance this out, you have to watch more clips of him talking to women also
Interesting convo
Proverbs 31 also answers every modern relationship or feminist burning question that is out today. People just refuse to read it or exemplify it.
