I was baptized once in Dallas Texas about 10 years ago. I had backslid for quite a few years. I recently began following God again, about a month ago. I would love to be baptized again and I would love for Phil to do it. I live in Indiana now. I hope to be at a church he's in and make it happen. GOD BLESS 🙏🙏
I love this man he doesn't waver like most pastors, who are afraid to lose flock and money. He does not add to or take away from gods word !!!! God bless
To the 2 people who gave this video a thumbs down both of you are missing out. This is a good message open tour eyes and ears and receive the message. Way to go Phil.👍👍👍👍👍😀 God Bless everyone!!
Phil has become my favorite Pastor. He should be a professor at Seminary. This how you reach man through Christ. No religion and man made rituals, just the Holy Spirit.
It sure is something how such a small church, a speck on the map really, can have such a loud presence in the world. The power of Christ is so amazing and thank you Robertson family for for having such a strong grip on the lord and spreading the gospel through the world like you do you are truly planting the seeds of Christ.
Bro. Phil has a way of teaching the words of God and Christ, his son, that commands your attention. Sometimes I get my toes stepped on a little as I feel a bit of conviction in what he's preaching. But that's my fault, not his. He preaches the gospel!
Part 2. The disciples were already believers in Christ, and they had not only professed Christ, but were followers of Christ...YET there was STILL something left for them to do. They had to be "...baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." I have heard many say things such as "What if there were a Bible in the desert but no water. Are you saying a person reading the Bible, believes, and confesses without baptism won't be saved?" I'm saying 1. How many times did that person TRULY search God for the truth in their lifetime. If you are old enough to find and read a Bible in the middle of the desert you are old enough to have been SEEKING God and His righteousness BEFORE that point in your life. 2. "I'M" not saying anything on this topic...GOD does in His Word. 4. This is the last false doctrine I will list, but there is MANY more. This one is HUGE...HUGE...HUGE, and MANY Christians and even non-Christians are pulled into it clutches. Millennialism, or what is known as a 1000 year reign of Christ upon the earth. This FALSE doctrine is taught by many denominations, in fact, it is taught by MOST denominations to one degree or another. The list of problems with this doctrine is truly MASSIVE, but can be dealt with pretty easily when looked at with an honest heart and eye. One of the main foundations of Millennialism, and actually probably the biggest is that the "Kingdom of God," and the "Kingdom of Heaven" are taught to be two different things...which is NOT even remotely true. Jesus uses the terms "Kingdom of God" and the "Kingdom of Heaven" synonymously, thus showing that they mean the exact same thing...just different wording.
Part 1. I have been a Christian since I was 16, and at age 62 I see too much division in the Christian realm, too many so-called churches that practice false doctrine. I have a very simple theology when it comes to applying the TRUE things that God expects from us as Christians, and how God has willed His Word to us. "If what you believe or practice is not in the Word of God it isn't OF or FROM God...period the end!" Many people have said that I am too legalistic when it comes to the Bible. What many Christians fail to realize is, the Bible is the "Will or Testament," of God, which makes the Bible 100% legalistic. Even the way we are to *LOVE* is based upon the Will or Testament of God, which again all "Wills" are based on TOTAL legalism. Imagine if you will please that you make a Will so that your WILL is carried out when you die. Now Imagine that when you die your WILL is taken completely out of context, or even worse simply ignored to the point that your Will is rewritten to suit the WILL of others. The Bible clearly says "Now it is required that those who have been given a TRUST must prove faithful." 1 Corinthians 4:2. (Emphasis mine). The "...must prove faithful" in 1 Corinthians 4:2 is NOT a request it is a COMMAND! In other words, if what you are practicing isn't in the the WILL/TESTAMENT of God you are NOT being faithful to God's WILL...period! I see many denominations that are found NO place in scripture, and see MANY denominations that are not practicing the WILL of God. No one is perfect. In fact, most of us are FAR from EVER being perfect while on this Earth. HOWEVER, your imperfections do not change God's WILL, nor do your imperfections give ANYONE the right to excuse your wrongs by making their WILL usurp the WILL of God Almighty. A mistake is a mistake, BUT continual, deliberate sin is NOT a mistake, not an "Oops moment," and continual, deliberate sin will cost you in the end! Read Hebrews 10 with special attention to verse 26. And, YES Hebrews 10 is talking to Christians. The Body of Christ is the church. This theology is based on several passages in the Bible, including Romans 12:5,1 Corinthians 12:12-27, Ephesians 3:6, 4:15-16 and 5:23, Colossians 1:18 and 1:24. Jesus Christ is seen as the "head" of the body, which is the church, while the "members" of the body are seen as members of the Church. So, "Members" of the body are seen as members of the Church. Then I ask each one here today the following question. Show me in the Holy Word of God Almighty the body of believers that are called Baptist, Catholics, Lutherans, Episcopalians, or ANY denominational name? There is NO body of believers in the most Holy Word of God known as "Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopalians...etc," therefore these bodies of so-called believers are not OF or FROM God Almighty. If you ask a member of the Baptist religion..."What religion are you?" The answer is Baptist. If you ask a member of the Lord's TRUE church "What religion are you?" They will answer "CHRISTIAN," without ANY hyphenated response! There are many false churches in the world, and MOST of them practice MANY false doctrines. I will list a few false doctrines of denominations. 1. Having "A" Pastor (Singular). A Pastor in the Christ's church is the SAME thing as an "Elder, Bishop, Overseer, Shepherd." The MEN servings as Elders MUST meet all the qualifications in 1st, 2nd Timothy and in Titus. When you study scripture you will also find that EVERY church in the Bible had "Elders (Plural)," and not ONE man that had the position of leading the flock, or members of the church. When the Bible uses the term "Pastor" all this means is a man who "Pastors the flock," or "Shepherds the flock/members" of the church. A "Pastor" is NOT a special office or title within the body of the church as believed by MOST leaders and members of denominational bodies. Furthermore, many Pastors of denominations believe and teach that they have SPECIAL gifts from God that are exclusive to them and that they were CHOSEN by God to be a Pastor...which both are TOTALLY unscriptural. "This is a true saying, If a man DESIRE the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work." 1 Timothy 3:1. (Emphasis mine). Other translations use the word "Choose." The fact is, you CHOOSE to be an Elder... and IF you meet the requirements in the Bible you can be an Elder. 2. Once saved always saved or always secured. The once saved always saved doctrine is MAINLY taught by the Baptist faith, which there are many types or branches of the Baptist faith. To be fair, not all Baptists practice this doctrine. Simply reading Hebrews 10 will usurp what "Once saved always saved" believers practice. Of course, the believers of "Once saved always saved" WILL try to use other scripture that is taken out of context to defend their beliefs. And, I would be more than happy to dismantle the belief of "Once saved always saved" doctrine. 3. Don't have to be Baptized to be saved. This is a BIG belief among MANY denominations, Baptist being the largest. I have heard EVERY possible reason given in defense of this false doctrine, and even some reasons that are not based on scripture whatsoever. It has truly shocked me what I have heard come from the mouth of a many believers on this topic. Let the Bible ALONE speak on the subject of the need for Baptism. The Bible states: "Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you -- not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience -- through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (I Peter 3:21). When discussing salvation, you need to address the question: "From what are you being saved?" Many people think of salvation as a right to enter heaven, but it is much more than this. It is a rescue from danger -- the danger of sin. If you understand this, then notice what Ananias told Saul, "And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord" (Acts 22:16). There are several implications in this statement. 1) Up to this point Saul was still in his sins. 2) By being baptized, those sins would be removed. 3) Saul then would be rescued from his sins (i.e. saved). Saul later wrote about this after he changed his name to Paul. "Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin" (Romans 6:3-7). Paul said that all of us were slaves of sin, but through the burial of baptism, we contact the death of Christ and thus die to sin. Being freed from sin is what is meant by being saved.
@Frankie Carlson 1. Phil doesn't speak vey loud to begin with. 2. You might have your speaker volume clogged with "stuff". I'm serious! It happened to me also. Try this....go to Lowes or Home Depot & buy the blue sticky stuff that you can use to hang posters on a wall without damaging the wall paint. 3. Take a piece of that stuff, get it room temp & just squish it up a little bit. 4. Then use that blue stuff to clean out the dirt that builds up on your phone speaker. It works! If I didn't explain that well enough then search for it on UA-cam....there's several short videos that show you how to clean the speaker on your phone or whatever device you're using. Hope that helps you!! God Bless!
Part 3. While some believe that the Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are referring to different things, it is clear that both phrases are referring to the same thing. The phrase “kingdom of God” occurs 68 times in 10 different New Testament books, while “kingdom of heaven” occurs only 32 times, and only in the Gospel of Matthew. Based on Matthew’s exclusive use of the phrase and the Jewish nature of his Gospel, some interpreters have concluded that Matthew was writing concerning the millennial kingdom while the other New Testament authors were referring to the universal kingdom. However, a closer study of the use of the phrase reveals that this interpretation is in error. For example, speaking to the rich young ruler, Christ uses “kingdom of heaven” and “kingdom of God” interchangeably. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven’” (Matthew 19:23). In the very next verse, Christ proclaims, “Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” (verse 24). Jesus makes no distinction between the two terms but seems to consider them synonymous. Mark and Luke used “kingdom of God” where Matthew used “kingdom of heaven” frequently in parallel accounts of the same parable. Compare Matthew 11:11-12 with Luke 7:28; Matthew 13:11with Mark 4:11 and Luke 8:10; Matthew 13:24 with Mark 4:26; Matthew 13:31 with Mark 4:30 and Luke 13:18; Matthew 13:33 with Luke 13:20; Matthew 18:3 with Mark 10:14 and Luke 18:16; and Matthew 22:2 with Luke 13:29. In each instance, Matthew used the phrase “kingdom of heaven” while Mark and/or Luke used “kingdom of God.” Clearly, the two phrases refer to the same thing. Why is the "Kingdom of God," and the "Kingdom of Heaven" important for the believers in Millennialism to be a legitimate thing? Simple! Because the two being separate can be used to show the existence of two separate Kingdoms existing for two different purposes. You see, SOME believers think that Jews are still God's chosen people, and that God did not fulfill His promises to the Jewish nation, and these promises will be fulfilled in a "Eartly reign of Christ." However, neither the Jews still being God's chosen, or God not fulfilling His promises is true, nor are they a valid New Testament reason for Christ to give ANYONE what would be best described as a "Second Chance!" Christ has NOTHING of which to offer anyone on earth He hasn't ALREADY given. Christ isn't going to sacrifice Himself EVER again. Hebrews 10:1-18. And, the reestablishment of the Old Law (as believed by Millennialists), isn't going to help, or save even one soul. If you want to know more I will be more than happy to respond to any questions. It may take a bit of time, but I do check youtube about 3 times a week for any responses. May God bless you dearly.
Love this video, but I cant help but laugh right now. If you move your cursor at along the play line at the bottom where it shows the video thumbnail, you really get a good picture show of Bro. Phil. It made me laugh.

The Bible states: "Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you -- not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience -- through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (I Peter 3:21).
