Awesome re-listening to this cast on 5/12/24, hearing you guys talk about, at the time, the future of the game, which has now happened. I'm listening to this as I learn 525 invocation ToA raids and it was so funny hearing you guys get hyped about the idea of a raid that takes place "in the desert in a big pyramid," getting excited about puzzles- and worrying people are going to want to use plugins to solve them! Yeah after hundreds of raids, I think I've experienced these simple puzzles enough! ...and Desert Treasure 2, the wilderness boss rework, legitimizing "low ram" through RuneLite's Entity Hider plugin (I love that plugin now, and wish I had it back when I was getting my first infernal cape)... etc.
Genuine question because I'm biased: Can you explain to me how it's not hypocritical to justify clue solver plugins while being vehemently against alting? Seems like there's a stronger "Against the spirit of ____" argument for clue solvers than for alting PS Port Khazard is the man
In an ideal world, removing all clue plugins and helpers would be fine, but most are just overlays which Jagex couldn’t detect. Therefore severely punishes competitive clue hunters who DO obey the rules, while those who don’t, do it unpunished and complete clues much quicker and easier.
@@Bea5rs “Port Khazard is a port located south of Ardougne and north of Yanille. It is not visited often, except for chartering ships to other locations, and a few other things. It also has a bank chest and deposit box beside the docks.” per the rs wiki. but considering this guy IS port khazard in game he could easily of manipulated the wiki himself to say anything about him he chooses
Response to 1:01:00, even if they required video proof, clients can display a mirror mode of your client that how no overlays and you could just record that
3:02:00 couldnt disagree more. COX gets it perfect. Designed for teams, but with enough mechanical ability you can efficiently solo it. When you get content that must be done in a group where you are "doomed if your teammates die", you get groups who aren't willing to take learners. Then you get a world 416 situation where you need 100 kc to find a team and its difficult (impossible for some people) to find a team to teach you & bring you to 100 kc good podcast just had to throw that out there
what content in the last two years was in response to anything the community wanted? Nightmare is dead outside of venezuelans and miserable ironmen. Tempoross is a boring reskinned wintertodt. Where is the content the community is asking for? I am looking through updates and not seeing anything.
Been a full supporter of the podcasts. But talking about how much "easier" it has gotten to be an ironman is the dumbest shit I've ever heard SayBay...... Do you realize how many methods they have nerfed for ironmen? Just the Glory from Archeologist should be enough for you to remember how many different things they've nerfed that you probably used as an ironman in the creating. Every time they add another XP method in the game is probably after they nerfed something ridiculous. IE, the glory being extremely "easy" to get for ironmen.....Fruit for thought. Love you though.

You must be a casual player to say such thing. Ironman became much more easy with better QoL than before. Let's take your glory argument. Back in the days, the efficient way to get a glory was either crafting (charters) or hunter. Nowadays irons have access to seaweed farming and buckets of sand farming while being somewhat more efficient than the previous method. Let's take a recent update: soul wars. Ironman can now get 15k+ pure ess per hour doing a fun activity. Back in the days, the efficient way to get pure ess was to camp temple trekking for 2-4k pure ess/h. Don't get me started on how easy people have access to buying services safely nowadays with little to no repercussion. Back in the days, those services weren't as common nor trusted. Saybay is 100% right, and as a fellow maxed ironman what you said is completely delusional.
Port Kazzard is a place in rune scape not a player lol

completely agree
Tob is the most fun raid in the game BECAUSE it’s team content. Get friends
What a gamer
Could not disagree more about the sentiment that the community is being heard. Perhaps sae bae is confusing it with HIM being heard?

Ironman is much much easier than it ever has been. I don't know what nerfs to ironman you're talking about

maxing an ironman literally takes less time than maxing a main without alts did in 2014
@Diggy Pooper yea the game died thats why you're watching an obscure youtube video about it lol
