I think it's definitely about someone who's father wasn't their in some way. Whether "I am my father's son" means that they have become like their father, or are just the product of abuse, I don't know.

Infidelity runs higher with people who have experienced it in their families... sort of like depression. i can relate to it in the lyrics "I'll build a house inside of you, I'll go in through the mouth, i'll draw 3 figures on your heart.
