Have you considered getting your ends trimmed and a real shape up. Your twist out will be so much more defined. I understand as 4C naturals we don't trust others to trim our hair but a shape makes the world of difference. When I shaped my afro, it looked and felt so much better.Just a thought!!
Your reactions to the products were so cute. It seems as if the smells brought out the kid in you. Love your hair, it is so thick and healthy and your edges are thriving. Enjoyed the different makeup looks especially the one when you were taking your twist down.

LoLz, it does smell like candy ! I can smell it all day as well, all of her products. I'm waiting on the shampoo now and some more DC. About to order more twisting butter. I also section my hair and finger comb it thru to saturate the product from the roots.

was the hydrating and twisting butter a thick consistency and did you feel like it was satisfying?
the silicone feeling is probably coming from the horsetail extract.
I think it is coming from the “ Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride.”
if you're low porosity, you should try putting these products on the shower with warm water.

It's so moisturizing and the smell lingers in my hair for at least the whole week. My next favorite I see is the Lavish Leave in Moisturizer..... 😱 it's thick, creamy and it's perfect for my Type 4A Hair. I use the LCO method for the winter and apply it towards my twist and my hair still feels moisturized. This one is definitely in my rotation...

Ghana Goddess yes i have tried it and surprisingly it is a very well made product for my 4 c hair. Only problem is i have to order it for the city. Its such a good product i am surprised not many 4 c girls are using it.also the price point is great.

Ryleigh G You might just have thin hair. Mine is. I don't know of any products that will change that.
If I were you, I would use Jamaican black castor oil to try and thicken up your hair. I completely understand you wanting to cut it off. Perhaps you can do it little by little but try the castor oil first.
Ghana Goddess i tried jbco didn't work for my hair and i tried a home remedy of mustard powder green tea and egg no results from that either so i gave up on that too and i understand what works for others may not work for me bt ima try ur cut little by little idea and see if that helps..thank u
Latina Gilyard thank you.. it used to b thick bt i always wore short hair I'm getting older and wanted something different so i grew it out i look younger lol with my hair bt its not thick enuf its when i wrap it u can really tell its so many remedies to make hair grow I'm just praying for remedy for thickness...

hey hun. you may want to look into ayuvedic powders (I'm pretty sure I spelt that wrong 😂).
but seriously, powders like henna can thicken the strands. there are various powders with different properties so you can check that out to see which combination will work for you.
