Once again I must say that you always dress appropriately regarding the theme of the album. The blinking lights again bring a Holiday glow. The color of your sweater is nice and the Santa hat captures the Christmas atmosphere. The vintage classic albums you show here bring back memories of childhood when life was simple and magical. Well, we can still find the magic if we search for it. Speaking of magic, your whispered voice has a quality and a magic all it's own. Your voice is really quite soothing and it relaxes me every time I listen. You are so naturally gifted in this area of ASMR.
A record by "The Singing Cowboy" Gene Autry, a CD by Burl Ives and another record featuring the likes of Bing Crosby, Perry Como & Jan Peerce... What a great selection of some legendary singers! 😎👍 It looked like you gave yourself (& probably your dad) a bit of a fright at 6:23 with that old Rudolph record, lol. 😁 Anyway, this was another great addition to your album series, Prim! A little bit of tapping, a little bit of tracing, a little bit of singing, a little bit of floor creaking (😉), and plenty of soft, whispery narration... All of it was really wonderful! Dasher and Dancer, Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen are in the song. But it's Donder and Blitzen in the poem, (or an earlier version that was "Dunder and Blixem,"). The names mean "thunder and lightning" in German or Dutch, depending on the spelling.

You should see the album artwork to "Christmas in the Stars". It was a Star Wars Christmas album by Meco who definitely had some pretty wild album covers for most of his albums. But this particular holiday album looks like a Norman Rockwell painting.
Oh my, you've got a whole bunch of Christmas songs in the Usa! I just knew a fistful of them, but hearing you singing Winter Wonderland made me want to discover the other ones, too! We are Santas Elves is not as musically pleasing to me (I suspect mostly because you didn't sing this one yourself a capella...), but I find the lyrics quite funny! Anyway, thank you for exposing me to new cultural horizons, once again!
Gene Autry! I don’t know how much you know about that guy, but he was the artist that performed Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the first time. (One is the very first in the case of Rudolph.) Anyhow, the name on the album jumped out at me. Everyone who grew up listening to Gene Autry loved him.

It was so great to see you show an album with one of my favorite singers on it, Jan Peerce! The very same recording on your album by Jan Peerce, "O Holy Night", is available right here on my UA-cam channel so you can hear it here if you want to. I posted it as a Christmas gift to my subscribers a few years back. Gene Autry was one of my grandmother's favorite singers. She liked his old cowboy movies, and his singing. He did have a good voice! He had a big hit with "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". It's funny because I was going to suggest that you should get a Burl Ives Christmas album, and then out you came with a Burl Ives recording. My grandmother had a vinyl Christmas record of Burl Ives. On the front cover, he wore a Santa Claus hat like you have on, and with his beard, I grew up thinking he was actually Santa Claus! I thought Santa Claus recorded the album! "Holly Jolly Christmas" is one of his best Christmas songs. "Winter Wonderland" is one of my favorite Christmas songs too! My favorite version is by the Ames Brothers. The line you are thinking of in the song is "We can pretend that he is Parson Brown". The singer is singing about having an imaginary wedding to his girlfriend and having Parson Brown conduct the wedding ceremony, in a winter wonderland. Bobby Vinton's Christmas album is one of my favorites. The only Christmas CD I actually own though is one by Brenda Lee, and it's pretty great. Thanks for the holly jolly video, Primie Prim Prim!

Also, if you want, you should check out Teresa Brewer's version of "Jingle Bell Rock" which is posted on one of my other music channels I run. It's my favorite version of the song and it's from the '50's, so it has a great '50's upbeat spirit!
Nice hat! What about Santa Prim character act? I remember I had to sing Rudolph The Rednosed Reindeer in school around Christmas time, alone in front of the entire class. Now that's what i call embarrassing. :D The artworks on vinyl are so great that you could use vinyl as an ornament. I watched a movie a few days ago, a family didn't have any ornaments so they put CDs on a Christmas tree instead. It didn't look bad actually. It looked Primitive.
