Anthony, you are too funny lol! So 2 things: Anytime you travel, always have google translator on your phone. You can just hold your phone up to words, and it will show you what the words are in English. 2. Always use a bank app, and you can put a travel alert on so that your bank knows you are traveling out of the country and won't lock your card. I know a lot of people aren't big on apps, but it alleviates the drama. 3. I don't just go by hotel pics. I check every review I can, including Facebook reviews, Google, and trip advisor. I also look up street view on Google to see what kind of area I am in. Hope you have a great trip!
Very good tips! I always book my transportation with my hotel. I will not go to a foreign country trying to hail a taxi or uber! If my hotel is not 4 or 5 stars, I'm not going.
Hi Anthony, no need to exchange money when you go to Mexico or the Caribbean. They definitely prefer for our money because it’s worth more. Enjoy your trip!
Anthony I am glad you made it there safely. Please be observant of everyone around you especially when you are in conversation with friends and family. Just know some people can fake not understanding English but in actuality they understand. When walking around keep all your property close to you if not tucked away and avoid having people on both sides if you are browsing. Take a step back and don’t be distracted. @@iwannaseeit1979 she may not have seen your post yet but benefits with using a travel agent is 1. You get great package deals 2. Mazatlan Mexico, ahhhhhh, I drove my car down and spent 3 months there last winter, with a couple short trips to Puerto Vallarta. Loved driving my car along the boardwalk/malecon. Second longest boardwalk in the world behind Atlantic city N.J. The people there will break their backs to help you. 80 degrees at day 60 at night. I had an airbnb two blocks from beach, walked up to boardwalk and watched the sun set many nights. Love your channel Anthony, I'm in Manila now.

Anthony, I’m an American who lives in the Caribbean. 1. Most hotels in the Caribbean or in Mexico will exchange your dollars and exchange your currency at a better rate than a bank. 2. Call your bank and see if they charge you foreign transaction fees. Those fees can add up. 3. Some merchants or stores will allow you to purchase goods or services. using US dollars since most people welcome US currency. 4. Open a bank account with a bank that doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees. I use Capital One because the banks doesn’t charge me a fee. Enjoy your trip.

Hi 👋🏽 Anthony. i’m sorry you had a few issues with your travel to Mexico. Next trip try to make a list to self what needs to be done before traveling. Try to stay safe, enjoy and keep us posted. 🙏🏽♥️
Hello Anthony! I thought about you, at work earlier wondering how your trip, was going. So I was happy to see you posted this video. Stay prayed up, keep your eyes on your surroundings & enjoy yourself. 👍
Great advice from everyone. Always be careful when traveling to any foreign country. Always review travel apps of any place you plan to visit. The reviews tells who we’ll the facility is run and how safe it is. We always plan one year in advance. Look at reviews on service, safety, amenities, shuttle service, car storage, restaurants on site, room safes, hot tub, pool, free breakfast, in house entertainment. My friend and I took a trip to Hot Springs and Memphis. It was great. We are in our early sixties. The shuttle bus transported us to anywhere we wanted to go within a five mile radius. The entertainment was wonderful. We made sure we where back to the hotel by 8pm. Also we wrote down all personal health history, contact information for our family members. Make sure you take all medications and extra doses. I take a room security camera, my own sheets, door stopper, a Fannie pack, mace, pepper spray. Always travel together. We each had an extra cellphone just in case. We also had a kitchenette, sitting area. It was great. Also take your own carbon dioxide monitor when you travel. Do a check of the room on arrival. Never be above the second floor. Check out where the exits are. Park your vehicle where it can be seen from your window. Have a code name for emergencies.

From a banker, the US banks don't keep large amount or foreign currency on hand because it could be a liability in the case of theft. Foreign exchange rates can change daily so large and foreign currency orders should be made 1-2 weeks in advance. Even though it's a bank, they just don't house hundreds of thousands of dollars in vaults like they did 20 years ago when people cashed payroll checks. This is largely because nowadays, a lot of transactions are wired or ACH. This is today's world. Hopefully, this info helps!

Contact your bank and inform them where you are so there won't be any problems when they see you make it transactions on your account. I had one on a trip in my bank had contact me actually and asked me was I in that certain location because they seem different transitions that normally are not on my withdrawal information
I suggested he just downloads his banks app and puts a travel alert on. He won't even have to call them. Bank of America has it.
Have Fun! Stay Safe! And don't drink the water! 💩LOL!
