    It Conquered the World/Cheepnis.
This is the original and best vinyl version of this one - all the other videos for this ditty on here are the crappy remixed cd versions..
Sadly upon uploading the thing is out of sync, but as hardly anyone will watch it, not worth bothering about.

You have fallen into the comedic genius of Frank Zappa, a composer, guitarist, human commentariats extraordinaire. To try and explain who he is, and the level of his genius is impossible. You simply have to experience it. I'd suggest listening to the whole album this song came from: Live at the Roxy/Hollywood (1973). You can find it right here on UA-cam. There really is no one who's even close to this guy. He's self-taught and will often write out the entire score of his songs, such as this one. As a matter of fact, for the first seven years of his career (beginning at age 14) he wrote only instrumental pieces. Later he got into rock and other genres. At times, the complexity of his music is mind blowing, yet he doesn't just write complex music for the sake of being complex. He does so in a way that allows the music to flow and blast the listener from their seat. This song is a great example.

One of Frank's favorite things to eat was a Hebrew National hot dog cooked over an open stove burner until it was pretty charred. One of his albums is called Burnt Weenie Sandwich, named after this delicacy. He liked hot dogs.😎

NEVER forget Phil Tucker's legendary "Robot Monster". Phil was on a tight budget lol. He knew a guy who owned his own gorilla suit, and would work cheap. He stuck a diving helmet on the guy's head, and the terrifying Robot Monster was born.

A sweet story, you've heard of mystery science theater right? Well, when Frank was on his deathbed, he wrote them guys a letter telling them they created the best show in history! And, they riff this actual movie and its comedy gold!!

Biased as I may be, the entire record Roxy & Elsewhere is a true masterpiece, incredibly intricate and was so far ahead of its time. Check out "Penguin In Bondage", complex yet humorous, truly Frank. Cheers

In Ed Wood's Bride of the Monster, the gigantic octopus monster thing quit working. Ed didn't want to waste money; he didn't have a lot of it to begin with. So he had star Bela Lugosi "pull" the thing's tentacles around him himself, like he was helping it to strangle him or something lol

try being there live......I was there at the Roxy which is not a big stage to begin with and he had all that percussion and 2 drummers (one of them being Chester Thompson way before he was in Genesis) and George Duke on keys. that was one of the most talented bands Zappa ever had. It was one of the best Zappa shows I have ever had the pleasure to see

Wow"is a word l uttered 40 years ago when l first heard this double album "Roxy and elsewhere " l was 18 and l was mesmerised by the genius of FZ and his musicians , it had the effect of electrical shock running through my mind ; in 1982 the current music was mainly Disco,British new wave and Reggae but Zappa's style was from an other world :so complex using different musical scales and most of all unpredictable with a variety of social topics touching the lives of the American simple folks. What l appreciate though is the reaction of the lady on this video ( she looks baffled and taken by surprise) it's certainly the first time she listens to this song .This particular song is the most sophisticated song in the history of Rock and no one can deny it because it's heavy with musical variations that no one except FZ can come up with .Thank you for this video and God bless you.

Franks brain worked on a whole other level. I read a book on Frank many years ago. I can't remember which school Frank went to, but it was either USC or UCLA and Frank won awards while in the music program that had never been given to anyone that wasn't in the science or math department. I got to see-hear Frank in concert 2 times, was incredible!

Greatest of all remains the hallowed Plan 9 From Outer Space, by Ed Wood, the master of inexpensive cinematic brilliance. The day and night shots don't match. So what? Need a flying saucer to blow up? Light a paper plate on fire and toss it at the camera. Poor Bela Lugosi had died, but Wood hawked the movie as Lugosi's last film. Some footage of Bela was included in the picture, but, to replace him, Ed hired his wife's chiropractor, who was much taller than Lugosi, and looked nothing like him. Continuity? What's that?
Oh yeah, the tombstones are cardboard, and bend over.
