The Switch unit is most likely not fake. Too many things line up PRECISELY with the previous console leaks for it to be AI generated, like the pins. u/NextHandheld has shown to be VERY paranoid about Nintendo finding out where the image was taken and who took them, since he works with them and doesn't want to get fired. Therefore it is understandable he changed the background with AI. What he SHOULD have done is clarify that the background was AI generated from the moment the images dropped. Still - most likely real. Especially the dock, but the unit most likely too.
