Ft. Valley got a nice strong sound for their size. Good arrangements and musician. Are all you need. Size doesn’t always matter.

I’m a proud middle Georgia guy after hearing the Valley. The crispness of the players, the tone, no one over blowing, no section is dominating another, for their size I don’t know of another band that can touch that. But what do I know, I’m just a white guy 😂

I got what I expected from miles but I must say I love the improvements Fort Valley has done this year not that they was trash and nothing like that but it sounds well polished nice tone for their size

Man FVSU sound really good especially for their size. Prime example that size dont always matter as long as you take pride in your band and work hard. Good overall battle

Some of Miles arrangements are empty, shallow, and loud. Both bands sound good though.
Great job to both bands. I think FV has really become something, love the sound. Miles is nice, always. Prof. Snipes has a great ear, technique, and style. Both band need to come see that Human Jukebox... Often Imitated, Never Duplicated...

@@rodneyplayer5483 Yes, I was there with Doc Greggs, Mr. Cornell Knighten and Mr. Lawrence Jackson. Crab class '95. I am a juke, but music is still music. A lot of great band sounds this year. Can't wait the get into the meat of the season.

Fort valley gon be a threat if they get at least 60 more members. They still held their own. But Miles was still too much.

Its amazing....miles has a student population of about 1k and 50% of that is band members...i marched AAMU in 99’ and remember a time miles use to barely march 70-100...

JSU has put chest tenors on the map. What's the use in having them if you don't use them.
Donnie2saucey i feel like they moved to those because fort valley tenors last year were always dragging the tempos when they would march and play and I feel like these helped them improve their sound a whole lot more !!
