your agoha sir is soo big..its to slow to hook the mesh..i suggest make it smaller...but i salute u sir...making of castnet is not easy..i knew it because i making it....here in Philipines soo many castnet maker..or any net maker..😜😜
Thanks for all the information. I just finished my first net about a month ago using your instructions. It came out much better than I could have expected. When you make a net with dacron do you use all the same knots or are there some differences. Just wondering about that because when I use braided line for fishing the knots seem to slip quite a bit.
Thanks for your post, I use the same knot for dacron as I use on any other twine. If you make a mistake using dacron the knots are hard to untie, Spectra fiber forget it.
What do you do when you run out of "tail" before you get to the bottom of the net? I'm assuming you tie in some more tail, but I'd love to see how you do it.

Las que yo he hecho @8’ se toma al menos 2lbs de linea. Yo utilizo #4 bonded nylon. Al principio de la atarraya le hago la linea doble como por 5 o 6 ojos. Y los ultimos 10 ojos tambien tienen linea doble. Hay diferentes formas de hacer la atarraya, dependiendo el tamaño de los ojos. Yo las he hecho con 33 filas al principio y solo 11 expanciones y funciona bien. Si la atarraya es para agua profunda, es mejor hacerle mas filas al principio. Eso la ayuda a mantenerce abierta a lo que baja a la profundidad.
