In 2014 toward the end of the year on my Golf 6 GTI I was quoted by VW Lindsay Saker R17790.60 to replace my Timing Chain and Tensioner. Till Date I still look at the Quote and Laugh at how they thought I was going to pay that kind of money to fix that issue.

Where did you take it for as I'm quoted almost R3ok for an a3 at the agents
it wasnt a new engine. it was block head and sump. the rest he used from the old engine.
