@@elen1112ep you should check the book out. Rainbowse7en is translating it out on Wattpad. It's a lot different from the tv show and in my personal opinion much better, it has more fleshed out characters and development. A major difference would be in the character sketch of Zhao YunLan, in the book, he actually is able to hold his own and is not a damsel in distress and is actually very smart and just plain brilliant. Another major difference is that the book doesn't have the focus each case (nor do all the cases end on a happy - nobody at fault note) and had mythological back story or Lord KunLun. If you enjoy reading, you could check it out. It's a decent read

I know this was a long time ago, but I think it's actually a mis-translation on the part of the original show. In short, a "Steward" in English is someone that watches over and protects, generally land or property, someone else's stuff. They are the "guard," that protects. So, in the original novel, there was a guardian mark or seal made of paper that Zhao Yun Lan had that was essential to proving that he was the Guardian. I think his business card is supposed to be a subtle nod in the show to the Guardian Mark, but due to mis-translation, it was written as "Stewart Mark," which is also a misspelling of steward. English is complicated. Sorry.

其实我觉得，在有限的环境和条件下，编剧和演员们能做到这样真的很用心了，去看细节就会发现，大家其实都是看过原著的人，但是条件不允许这样演啊有什么办法
很多小细节的处理真的是特别的无声胜有声！看的心里甜甜的！

在剧里我记得最深的大概就是一约既定，万山无阻。我答应过你的，为了天下苍生，为了海星和平，即便永世负重逆行，吾往矣。好心疼啊。😭还有就是黑袍哥哥慢走，人家等你哟😂， 和别忘了，我们还有个约定。也好心疼。反正剧里都是刀。。。。
