Please tell me the names of the LED bulbs, wires, connection jacks, switches, the power source to use all those bulbs, how many V and the capacity of the UV bulbs,... (that would be great). It would be great if you could provide links that sell that product). Thank you very much.

    • @PencilKnights

      Thank you!
      1. The LED's that I used to create the rainbow effect are called RGB LED's. The voltage is 3V from lighthouseleds.com/.
      2. I used Micro Connectors from www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832658471131.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.order_detail_item.3.67ecf19c559gnM&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa
      3. I used a 3-way slide switch from evandesigns.com/products/3-position-slide-switch
      4. I used 2x AAA batteries as the power source and built it into the base. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TJXS871/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
      That should start you off on the right track. If you have more questions, just let me know. Going forward I will incorporate my material list into the video.

      @@PencilKnightshey where did you buy the base?
      It looks really cool.
      AlsO I dont have any knowledge about leds. What is controlling the color changes? Do you need to install something like a controller?

    • @PencilKnights
      @PencilKnights  9 місяців тому +2

      @@hendrik6156 Hey. So I used a regular action base 1 and modified it with photo-etched parts.
      You don't have to install a controller if you dont want to. The LED's I used are RGB LED's. They change color on their own. If you want to learn about LEDs, check out a UA-camr called Otaku Builder. He's really helpful. Hope this helps.

    Man, great work! I'm saving this for future reference. I do have a quick question. I've tried making clear pieces using resin, however, I've noticed that they generate a lot of heat when being treated by UV light. Do they warp gunpla plastic if you were to parts as molds like at 1:01?

    • @PencilKnights
      @PencilKnights  7 місяців тому

      Hmm. I've never had the parts warp on me. Whenever I fuse a resin and plastic part together, I use very little amounts of uv resin to merge the two. The brand of uv resin I use is pretty strong. I've had zero problems in that regard.
