A few months ago I picked up some of the RF-1 DH trucks myself with my new set up. I honestly love them so far. Haven't had a ton of chances to shred them, but when I have they're pretty stable and quite reactive. If you're considering getting them, I would fully recommend them. Get out there and do some full sends
They are better freeride trucks than both of those options. They turn more, steer deeper, and have less return to center which makes them easier to sink into a slide. That is where they will feel the best.
Iv been looking at your site and i see a 150mm option. How do those compare to the 176mm? I am noticing a lot of people at the IDF killington race (70mph top speed on longboard) running narrow/shorter board options.
@@MotionBoardshop That's fucking siiiiick. I didn't realize it was stiff enough to ride fast. Might be the quiver killer for me. (Did he reinforce them at all?)
@@mats7984 he just chopped the nose and tail off. they are mildly flexy, but he says they work well up to maryhill speeds, and down to lowspeed freeriding.
Hopefully your snake is not pooping urethane, I would suggest taking it to a vet if that is the case. Snakes should not dump thane, but sometimes things just be like they do.
Hello Ryan, I am Nate. I have mutilated my memory from years and years of complex college learning, and can no longer remember people by their hair color, or their ability to buy wheels. I will however thank you for the support and encourage you to come in and reintroduce yourself anytime in the store.
Its like a savant that steers deeper, has less return to center during a slide, and is easier to sit into during long corners. We love Savants here, and we find the Savants and the RF-1 to both be amazing freeride trucks, but the bushing seats, axles, kingpins, and bushings are all more performance oriented than the SAVANTS. Not hating on Savants, but the reason the RF-1 is $40 more expensive are these upgrades.
I got those ones (50 degree) for the extra turn for freeride. i used a split setup 50 in the front and 46 degree in the back and its amazing. They turn invisible under foot and just do what you want.
@@GabrielDelPinoC always have the option of riser pads, higher duro of bushings, tighten your current king pin bolt, run smaller wheels , just go faster. Motion boardshop has an awesome article that tells you how to deal with it @ www.motionboardshop.com/pages/how-to-get-rid-of-wheelbite
"These trucks aren't wobbly because speed wobbles are a mentality"
The Greasy Shredders 😂 he meant not as wobbly as assumed because he assumed in his head
Obviously way more wobbly since 46 plus bushings and pivot cups

I actually can't believe that one of them is running shark wheels haha
Your music selection for these reviews is always on point

nice I am considering getting them but, what about the difference between RF1 vs k5 or k4?
Hey buddy.... are the stock axels titanium? Or is that an upgrade?
How do they compare to K4's?
They turn more, they have less return to center while in the slide, and they are more capable of being a freeride sliding truck than the K4.
@@MotionBoardshop thanks for the fast answer!
what deck is Bret riding?
Omen grim
How would they compare to a Caliber precision or PNL joeys?... those are the others I'm looking at.

do not buy caliber precisions LMAO. get these instead
What are those orange wheels?
Red, Powell Snakes

Are these precision trucks?
Forged
So sick! Did these end up feeling similar to Atlas Ultralights / PNLs with that ball pivot?
They feel substantially more stable and smooth than both of those trucks. They turn deeper without feeling like they are binding.
What length of whip did you chop nate?
He has both the Whip 44 and the Whip 47 chopped. This video was shot on the 47

@@MotionBoardshop Thanks; I'll probably sick with my chubby then until i go custom drang. (I'm too fat rn)
What's the gold hardware on the grim???
Michael Lake those are gold Gondar bolts

Funny to me that aera includes cruising in the intended uses. That's tricked out.
Not everyone who wants a nice truck wants to go fast, and some of the dancing community want a durable, tough to bend, lightweight truck.

How do you guys avoid wheelbite?, I need help, I love them but gives me a lot of wheelbite on topmounts decks!! Thanks!
