    This video was pure gold loaded with value and tangible advice and guidance. Much appreciated ! Please keep this up. A lot of my design anxiety comes from not knowing the little nuances and steps to take to get my design from my laptop to a garment. This alleviated a lot of my frustration and gave me a lil confidence that I can do this. Ay sidenote: you had me dying laughing when you said "fuck the jpeg"! LOL!!!!!!

    For the fades and glows, what if you posterize your design on Photoshop? Would that work for printing fades and glows?

    In terms of backgrounds of a transfer - using a T-shirt color as a background - for example a picture with black areas and using a black tshirt to fill in those areas.. do you recommend PNG or EPS file?

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  2 роки тому

      Just don't use any background at all on the design you submit. This might be helpful for you when you design it, but delete the background before submitting the art. EPS files will always be preferred.

    So is vector better than raster? Also u can switch the image from raster to vector right? Definitely subscribing good stuff 🙂

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  3 роки тому +1

      Vector is definitely better than raster. Its very easy to convert a vector image to a raster image, but it can be a lot more difficult to go the other way, converting a raster into a vector. www.vectorizer.io/ does a decent job of this if you want to try it out. Thanks for subscribing :)

    If I had a painting that I've painted do I have to use photoshop to outline it first so it has no background? I want to use my oaintibgs to put on shirts, how do I do that?

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  2 роки тому +2

      Yes you would want to use photoshop to erase any background that you don't want printed on the transfer.

    When you save a file as png doesn't it save it in the RGB color, even if you designed it in CMYK?

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  2 роки тому +2

      If you designed in CMYK and saved as a .png you should be good to submit it for supacolor.

    Do you also accept designs made in Affinity Designer?

    Question, let’s say I wanted to do a project with some of the artwork as vector (font) and some from photoshop (picture or a design made in photoshop) like a high resolution png. I’m I still able to put in an order?

    • @louminati_9573
      @louminati_9573 2 роки тому

      Also, what if I created an artwork with no vector files in illustrator, can it still be created into a transfer?

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  2 роки тому

      You will still need to vectorize your artwork so it can be printed.
      Other options are sublimation.

    so you can only use Adobe Illustrator to submit artwork to Supacolour?? is there any other way to convert my png. files to pdf?

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  3 роки тому

      You can use any graphic design software to export images as .png, pdf, or svg.

    Can I use phone applications to create my design ?

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  2 роки тому

      As long as you can export the image as a vector design, or a high quality png that is fine.

    Can I use canva ?

    • @HeatTransferWarehouse
      @HeatTransferWarehouse  3 роки тому +2

      Yes you can. Paying for canva pro would allow you to save your art as a vector image, which would be great for supacolor.
