Evening. I have a PS43D490 SAMSUNG TV.THE LEFT PANEL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS A TECHNICIAN TOLD ME TO REPLACE BUT WAS MISPLACED AND DONT HAVE IT. THE X MAIN. KINDLY ASSIST TO SOURCE ONE.HAD PARKED IT FOR 5 YEARS NOW.I LOVE IT TO GET BACK TO ACTION.
my PS51F5500 gave loud pop sound, then totally OFF, red front led ON for few seconds then off , green light at the board blinking slowly. I am not sure which board is the isue.
Power for the X Main comes off the Y Main. To check it if its bad disconnect the black wire at top of the X Main to confirm the dead shorted transistors on the x main board!

i have a 43d450a2d that only clicks when the video board is connected. i've replaced the video board but it still clicks. if the video board is not plugged in but all the others are, the relay wont click. anything else i should be looking for? i was so certain that replacing the video board would have fixed it but i was wrong
i have the 550 and i do cold start on my tv it shimmers. and when gray comes across the right side of the tv i get blotch of pink shimmering. is ot my buffer board ?
You need to test all of the mosfets not just two and two on the ot&er end. You can purchase these parts easily. I had no problems replacing them. Replacing the board is not wise some times..

I have the same TV. I have a strange issue. When I powered on the TV, it turn on but stuck at only one channels. Remote control is not working and I am unable to press any button on the TV. In order to power off the TV I have to unplug the TV power cord.
Hi there, thanks for the sharing your videowith evryone , I have shut off problem with my Samsung Plasma Television 43″ PS43E490, Sometime it works for days without any problem and sometime it shut off after 10 to 20 minutes and Red Light flash 5 times, If i remove the power cable and reconnect the cable again then tv does come on. So it doesn't happen all the time. I really appreciate if you could help me to fix this problem.
thx for the info. . I have almost same problem with LG 42PQ2000 ... 5V & 12V present ... but no picture no sound... only relay cliks 1x then Ir light flashes 7x then steddy.. stuck on standby. please help
+Runforlife Hi, ant thanks for reply . Standby light goes not in cycles, only when you switch it on at the beginnig . 7 times blue flashing and then stays blue. after a while returns red. And the green flash led on Logic board does not flash at all.

I have a Dell W4200HD Plasma that only turns on with the X-Main unplugged.
There is no relay clicking with it plugged in.

I fix a lot of these sets they have a repair kit but the repair kit cost more then the board. the board on ebay cost 17 bucks I just swap it (madlee)
And another tip u have to upgrade the firmware to or it will blow again one has a ceramic Resistor on the upgrade and one dont. so be carful
It was some bad caps on mine I had to replace 3x 1000uf 16v
