After a multi-year injury sets back Mariane Hogan's aspirations to run her first 100 miler, she is back 5 years later and stronger than ever. Early in 2022, she qualifies for the Western States 100 after winning a golden ticket race. Marianne then signs up for the 2022 UTMB. Watch as Marianne goes after the Western States / UTMB Double, running two of the most competitive 100-mile ultramarathons in the world in the same summer at an elite level.

Thanks a lot for this wonderful video ! The music's very loud covers up Mariane's voice, at a certain point her voice is almost inaudible (UTMB part), it's too bad that your hard work for this very nice video is a little bit ruined by the sound editing. I hope my observation will not upset you, this kind of video is amazing !

@@nicolasvanhille887 hehe j'ai un doute que je peux mieux faire également, c'est pourquoi je veux y retourner! Mais il faudra attendre une année encore, mais corps en souffre encore les conséquences. Mais ça va de mieux en mieux!

I have the same hardware in my left leg. I know what you went through to get back into running. It took me 2 yrs before I raced again.
@rzombi666, I have plate, screws, and pins in my left knee area from a tibia plateau fracture in 2017. My surgeon told me at the time not to start a running career. Six months ago I started running and so far no problems. Have you experienced any difficulty?

@@alaskahudson I have screws, pins and a piece of wire holding my left ankle together and a rod for my fibula. Most uncomfortable 3 months of my life.
