(2010 State Championship) Gate City vs. Gretna

The Gate City Blue Devils (11-2) battle for redemption as they face off against the Gretna Hawks (12-1) in the VHSL Group A, Division 2 title game. In 2007, both teams played one another for the title and Gretna emerged victorious 52-0 in a nasty shutout. Will the Hawks once more decimate the Blue Devils, or will Gate City get revenge and even the score as well as secure their first state title since 2003?

btw Appalachia and PV r two great schools with alot of pride and tradition so between GC Appy and PV they hav won more title been to more playoff and won more gms than any other school so just bc u hate their style doesnt mean you should talk

Gate City's game plan won them the trophy. But if it were based solely on talent, Gretna would have won. Gate City had a chip on their shoulders.
