What is the obligation requirement upon completion/commissioning of the AECP program? Can I go into the Reserves upon commissioning? Or do I have to complete my service obligation through Active Duty?

I just got put on orders to PCS summer 2019 from my husband reenlisting. Can I still try and submit a packet at the current duty station I am at? Waiver? I have full support of my chain of command here and I don't think I'll get that at my next unit and I would have to wait another year if I had to wait till I PCS'd there.

Cristina, I apologize for the delay in the response. Unfortunately because you are on orders to PCS there isn't much you can do. Our advice would be to wait an apply next year for the FY 2021 class. If you would like more information please email us at MRBUSAREC@gmail.com and we will help answer any other questions/concerns you may have!

I am about to reclass to 68C. How much time in that MOS must I give to the Army before submitting my AECP Packet? I was told i am only required to give 1yr then i can submit my packet.

Thank you for your question! Unfortunately this is more of a question for your branch manager, they will have a better timeline for how much time you owe as a 68C.

      Understood,
Thank you for replying back to my question. I'll be sure to contact Branch to see. Hopefully it is 1 year, I'm looking forward to the transition from being a 68E (Dental Specialist) to going 68C (LPN) then as an officer in the Nurse Corp.

As per the new Milpr message for the year of 2018-2019 a Gt score is not required. I’m in the process of becoming a nurse via green to gold

Katia Ash Only pertaining to the 2018-2019 year as far as I’m tracking.
HRC usually publishes a new Milpr message every fiscal year; no gt score requirement being one of it. However, it can change at any given time depending on a variety of reasons. My best advice is to look at the Milpr messages religiously and stay on top of it. There are even questionnaires associated with the nursing program that you can look through.

Jonathan Campadonico how about the time and service? I read the milper message too and I didn’t see anything about TIS. Can you possible clear this up for me.
