Got mine. Beautiful knife. GP is beginning to be my favorite dealer. They are actually a one and a half hour drive from me. This will compliment my Rex 45 and Rex 121.
Got mine today. It's pretty sweet. It doesn't slide in the pocket the easiest though, very grippy. It's not a super tough steel. It has really high edge retention.
Well maybe on knives. From my experience the dlc i see on knives is cheap compared even to cheap dlc guns i have. Higher end dlc definitely has a different look and more slickness to it imo
Sorry if I caused any confusion. CPM REX 76 steel should have high hardness, not high toughness.

Loving it, my favorite factory config yet, added a lynch clip and black gear backspacer and it’s perfect!
@@BrockOfBodom nice!👍 I am debating whether I like this one more or the salt series one more. Both of them are near perfect.

It’s a great knife for sure, but I can see how the grip would make it harder to pocket. 😂 sorry I mixed up the hardness with toughness.
Awesome video! Was tempted to get this knife but got the Spyderco Bodacious instead for $186. Thanks for sharing!
@@dn2610 you’re welcome! Bodacious is an awesome knife as well. You can’t go wrong with that one.
I want the Bodacious too but I'm still waiting for sprint runs.
I want an uncoated version.
68-70 hrc I think
Dlc is more of an esthetic thing from what I understand. May help a bit with corrosion but not much.🤷♂️👍🏻

It rubs off very fast that's why I prefer uncoated blades.
If you’re gonna bother with a video at least try to get the information correct

Lol relax dude, wow.
